Tasty Cheesie Snack

This stuff tastes great and has an excellent texture. Living up to the name, it is super crunchy. I would choose this over Chex Mix or many other snacks. A bit on the spendy side, but healthier options usually are. Love this stuff!

Awesome snack!

By far the Best Keto Snack I have found. And a much better value than the the "protein chips" offered by the big brands.

Best Keto Snack Mix (so far...)

I got this for a trip, to have a snack on the airplane that was more protein based. It is really good… kind of light and crispy, but it does fill you up. I really like the round cheese pieces. So delicious!

A great snack mix that has really grown on me

I'm not sure that I ever would have purchased this without having tried a sample.  So glad that we did!    It will be a regular snack item in our pantry from now on.   We don't buy a lot of "snacky" items, but this had a good flavor and sometimes it's nice to have something crunchy.   It may not be the most nutritious item on our shelf, but compared to similar snack items it has more protein.  A handful (or two) is a nice little snack when we're feeling munchy.

I’ve been living keto for 6 years now and this is one of the best keto snacks on the market.

The best

I bought this because of the protein content. It's a very tasty snack mix, somewhat reminiscent of the old chex mix.  I think it's a little expensive for how much you're getting but if you're looking for a good mix for the holidays for group of people, this would work well.

Tasty and has some protein

The snack is very tasty but I wish they had more of the other items instead of the baked cheese which I’m not a fan of. There was a very small amount of pretzels. Actually, there were more cashews than pretzels, which I was surprised. It seems like the bag, though is more full of the baked cheese than anything else. If you like the baked cheese, you will love these, but since I don’t, I feel like I’m throwing half of the bag away. They are also very pricey. It is a small bag for $10. Unless they go on sale, I will not be purchasing them again. If they had more of all the different items and were more reasonably priced, I would’ve definitely given them five stars.

People who like the crunchiness of Corn Nuts and the cheesiness of Cheez-Itz will love this snack mix!  Unfortunately, it was too crunchy and not enough flavor variety for me.  It isn’t really the crunch that was the problem, it was more that the different snack components were thick and hard.  It was too hard for my sensitive teeth. Everything in the snack mix tasted the same - a very strong flavor of cheddar.  I prefer a variety of flavors in a snack *mix*. I had great hopes for the Catalina Crunch Protein Snack Mix, but it didn’t meet MY expectations.  Definitely give it a try, if you can handle the crunch.

Crunchy & Full of Cheddar Flavor

I used to love the Catalina Crunch Cheddar Protein Snack Mix and bought it regularly, but the new version is really disappointing. The flavor tastes completely different now, and unfortunately not for the better. The mix seems more bland, and the proportions of the individual pieces have clearly changed — especially the cheese puffs (my favorite), which there now seem to be far fewer of.

I’m posting this mainly for anyone who was a fan of the original version, because the recipe appears to have changed significantly (even the nutrition label is different). The first new bag I received was through shipping, and once I noticed the change, I checked our local store and found the shelves were about half old bags and half new bags.

I really hope Catalina Crunch brings back the original mix. For anyone trying to tell the difference, the new version has a blue label on the front that says “tasty new mix.”
