First time I tried it. Liked it very much, it tastes fresh and delicious.And I made it up for tostadas, easy to make just heat it up in the microwave,Yum.

Butterfield roast beef and beef broth.

After trying other brands I was skeptical but ended up sold on this brand. Very tasty without adding seasoning. Easy to fix for a quick meal. The meat is very tender. I hope this will be available at Sams agàin. This would be an excellant Members Mark product.

Qualifies for a Members Mark Product

Very good, the broth may be too salty for some people. The chunks of meat are very tender and intact. (not shredded). The flavor is excellent. I use it for lunches at work. Easy and quick to microwave. I add it to vegetables and sometimes top with parmesan cheese.

Great flavor and texture

No more cooking a roast in the crock pot for me! This is such an easy and convenient way to make so many things. I make nachos, vegetable beef barley soup, chili, hot beef and gravy to pour over rice, baked & mashed potatoes, toasted bread, noodles. It is such a great shelf stable addition to my pantry. Family loves all the meals I create using this canned beef.

QUICK & EASY MEALS BONUS IT'S DELICIOUS

I liv buying an alone and I get a craving for roast beef. but I can't justify buying a whole roast that I will probably have to throw away. Especially with the high cost of everything these days. I make a gravy and add potatoes and carrots. I then add the roast beef and this makes 2 meals with no waste.

The texture of this roast beef is different from other brands that I buy, possibly due to being cut into chunks. Hereford's has a better texture and comes with gravy/sauce. Butterfield's has broth instead of gravy but is rather tasty. Butterfield's is worth trying. I buy it on occasion when I want something different than my regular.

Roast Beef with Broth, Not Gravy

I've never seen roast beef in a can this way but decided to purchase. Good decision. Opened the can and had a taste. Mostly small to medium chunks 3/4-1.25" diameter. This will work perfectly for roast beef hash or a quick beef stew. Simply steam your veggies with beef broth then add the beef. It's already rendered so use the liquid in the can as well.

Roast Beef in a can at a good price point

It will need some seasoning to bring it up to being good. I bought it for filling the pantry with shelf stable protein and tried a can of it with a salad . It was about the consistency of meat you would find in a can of soup or stew . If you used it maybe in a casserole with veggies and a good sauce , maybe even burgundy wine it probably would be much better.

Not what I expected

Unfortunately the cans were packed in huge box without any thing to keep them from bouncing around - the 2 cans on end of package were terribly dented in edges, one leaking - & I tried to make contact & nothing was done - they could not be used nor returned as they were in terrible shape.  I told Rep i have photo.   Money wasted because some idiot used a huge box with 2 plastic pads filled with air BUT air was deflated 
I don't know how to include photos with this, not a techie I'm 82 -- won't order stuff again that can be tossed around like football.  Shame on packer

Beef Cans arrived dented leaking

The cans arrived dented - very large dents. There were supposed to be four cans per sleeve and the cans had all become separated and were dented to the point where I didn't feel it was safe to use them. I contacted Sam's and they sent replacement cans, which arrived in worse condition so all were thrown out.
