We purchased this ice machine for our restaurant.  It produces a significant amount of ice and works great!  We have not run out of ice yet.

Great purchase!

I've had it for about a week now and so far I am very satisfied with its performance. The bin has a reserve of approximately 9, 10 full bucketsof ice which is plenty enough to handle weekends. By the time I need more it is usually filled up again. Great machine!

Great ice maker

We have only had the ice machine for a short time but it was an excellent purchase. We have used it for several fundraiser lunches and wonderful not to have to buy ice and now we will not run out.

I bought this ice maker about a month ago.It is noisy, company doesn't provide the drain pipes for machine and for bin also. Electric supply cable and supply line doesn't come with it. We are using this machine for hotel. First day and day after we tried to contact them 1-800..phone number, no one answer the phone.

Bought this unit a couple months back and it did not work out of box.  The freeze plate never got cold.  I tried working with MaxxIce Technical support and did not find them overly helpful.  I went back to Sam's and asked for a replacement.  Sam's service was excellent and I got a replacement unit in about a week.  Same issue with the second unit, with the freeze plate not getting cold.  I tried again tech support with MaxxIce and this time got a more responsive tech that said they definitely needed to dispatch a technician.  As of today we still have not heard from the tech and it is the fourth business day since my call.  Additional calls to MaxxIce either go to voicemail or when I did get a person, got "there is no one in Tech Support at the moment, try back in 30 minutes."   Frustrating.

Consistent Failure

I bought this a month ago and it was not working when hooked up.
