Heaton Pecans, Chocolate-Covered 4.2 lbs.

You cannot eat just one!!! They are scrumptious! The chocolate covering is very, very good. It’s not too sweet. It tastes like a mixture of dark and milk chocolate. But darn it’s good. Try them, you’ll buy more.

I bought these for my stepfather, figuring I would give them at C-mas time. Upon taking the out of the shipping carton, the plastic that sealed the container came loose, and I felt obligated to pop the lid and check them out. You know, for safety's sake. He certainly would not notice- or object if I tried ONE. Well, I TRIED to try one. ONE turned into 9, and I felt obligated to give them to him early. In the past when I have given him nuts and other treats he has always said I gave him too much, and this container is 6 pounds, so.... Didn't work. He popped the lid, ate a few, made a few faces and closed it it right back up. I even had a container ready, but he didn't offer me any. Greedy. Anyway, these things are THE BOMB! Easily the best chocolate covered nut I have ever had- or chocolate covered ANYTHING for that matter. I routinely snack on the Sam's Club choc covered almonds, and find them addicting- but these are WAYYY past that. Beware. I would say they might even be lightly glazed under the chocolate. They are NOT cheap, and I certainly could not authorize such a purchase for my own humble snacking. Having said that, I feel compelled to buy my own supply. Maybe I can figure a way to ration them out...maybe a time lock safe, or a locked and portioned animal feeder.....
