Great Dryer - sadly no drum light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I moved into my house over 20 years ago, we inherited the washer and dryer left by the previous owners. Over the last year or so it was starting to become apparent that the dryer’s days were numbered. It would often take several cycles to dry an average size load.

I’ve been using this new LG dryer for the past few weeks, and I have very little to complain about. There are plenty of drying cycles for just about everything. The capacity is more than sufficient for my wife and myself. The only complaint that I have so far is that the tone when the cycle is done is not very loud. Also I’m rather surprised that a light was not included. Despite this, I’m very happy with my decision to buy this dryer and I will likely get the matching washer when the time comes to replace it.

"Command Central" as my wife refers to the controls on the dryer and washer. She stacked the units and unfortunately with my disabilities unable to reach the dryer on top controls. Frustrating. May save water based on a decrease in water bill. Very, very quiet running both dryer and washer.

A feature missing for us is an optional chime to signal a cycle's end.  Thankfully, it does have a reversible door, unlike its paired washer (WM3400CW).

Drying time is a disappointment

I am still trying to figure this out. Also installed a tankless water heater that is supposed to use much less gas.

I'm very unhappy.  In fact, I'm going to call Discover tomorrow and see if I can get this machine taken out of my house.  I have to run the dryer through 2 cycles to get my clothes dry and then sometimes they are still damp.  The company I purchased it at has been here 4 times.  I'm done!
