After purchasing the 1qt size and finding them very useful, I ordered the 6qt size for my husband. He doesn't use them as much as the smaller size, but has found them beneficial for large amount of dough.

I am using these to hold food scraps destined for compost. The lid stays on. I can see inside. It fits in the dishwasher as needed. It could easily hold pantry staples or small toys. Functional, not fancy.

These containers are the absolute best. They are sturdy and will hold almost anything. Their large size may be a negative but the height is okay. Although they are plastic, if I put an item like flour in this container, I do not remove the paper bag the flour is in and place that in this container. The container does take up a significant amount of room, but that is okay with me. I like that they are so sturdy and I can put anything in them. They are great for just about anything.
