Perfect sweet treat for staff and parent appreciation gifts

It's no secret that the quality of Hostess products went downhill when the company was resurrected by another that was not able to measure up. I've purchased this combo pack before and the powdered donettes weren't good, but they were edible. The ones in the last 2 boxes I purchased are disgusting(thought the last box was a fluke). The powder has a chemical taste, so much so that we threw them away. The chocolate ones were edible but also not up to the original "Hostess" quality. These prove that you can buy a name, but not continue the perfected formula. Don't get me started on how gross the cream filling in the cupcakes is. If Sam's can obtain boxes that contain the all chocolate donettes l may consider buying for nostalgic purposes. Don't buy these unless you're willing to throw away half of the box.
