Never got past the setup... wants my location at all times, that's a nope for me

I am new to Samsung, I recently got the A51 phone, and adding this watch was amazing. The only negative thing I can say, is going though the notifications is a hassle. But other then that I love this watch. Being able to receive calls, and having my contacts at my finger tips is awsome. I like t h e size, I am a large man, and having the 46 mm fits my wrist perfect. I couldn't be more pleased. I hope there are more software and firmware coming.

Floor counter not working. Many issues with this feature on social media. It is supposed to work using the altimeter but it's not working. I have calibrated the altimeter but still not working.

I bought this watch, after for years having the original gear watch. I can't seem to get to answer or call anyone from the phone, as advertised. Everytime a call comes in or I make a call it says to check my phone. I have called the Samsung Help Center, but those people keep telling me that I must use the phone. But that's not what Samsung advertises

I purchased one these 2 years ago. It started burning my hand. As a cancer patient I used this for tracking of several things and sleep patterns. It started burning my arm really scared me because I thought it was something cancer related. Sent it back to Samsung for repair they told me it had water damage (never ever been in water or shower). Was told it was probably sweat !?!?!. Told it would take $389.00 to repair !!!! Just another fight to the one I'm already dealing with. You would think a $400 SAMSUNG watch would last longer than 2 years !!!!! 2 year warranty would NOT have helped DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH... DO NOT BUY !!!

Does this watch work with iPhones as far as responded to a text? Can you talk through the watch with iPhones?
