This was a Christmas present. Opened the box and the mixer itself is made very sturdy.........but........all of the attachments were very "cheap". My daughter has an old mixer, just a little smaller and the attachments had a ceramic covering on the attachments. These looked like "pot metal" If you pay this much for this type of mixer and this is what you get..............oh yes, if you want the better attachments you will have to buy them separately......great mixer with cheap attachments. If you pay this much for mixer, all of it should be of high quality.

I've had a Kitchenaid mixer for over 15 years with no issues. Decided up upgrade to a bowl lift so I picked up this one. The power and size is good for a family of three. Basic kitchen mixing is a snap with this. Even cinnamon rolls & dinner rolls were no issue for this mixer. I highly recommend.

The only thing I do not like is that you cannot put the dough hook, paddle, or whisk in the dishwasher. They discolor if you do, and you will have discolored fingers when you remove them from the dishwasher. Recommend hand washing (which I do not like at all).

Bought ours a few weeks ago. When we tried to register, it keep adding a letter R before the model all the time. When we called Kitchen aid, they said that this model are ALL refurbished! Went back to the club and all models there are the same. It doesn?t say anywhere that they are new or not. Had to return and ask for money back :(

I was so excited to get this mixer as a birthday gift. Really disappointed when I used it. It doesn't start right away when mixing, so I know it's a defective product. It is difficult to attach the back of the bowl to the hook and line up the bowl attachment.My old kitchen aid mixers works perfectly fine and I've had them for over 12 years. I thought an upgrade would be perfect, but I was dead wrong on this one. I stood by Kitchen aid for years and wouldn't use any other brand, but this this model is a huge disappointment. Do better Kitchen aid. This mixer is not Kitchen aid quality.

I gave my daughter and son each a mixer for Christmas. They love them. I have had a Kitchenaid Artesan Mixer for years and use it a great deal. I have always been pleased with it. The only problem that I had was Sam's advertised a rebate that did not exist for this model mixer. I would not have purchased them had I known. I would have searched for a better deal.

I know there are other models that can be purchased but the price for this product at Sam's could not be beat! I used the "Click and Pull" feature whichade the purchase even easier. I have been cooking up a storm with this mixer. I would defiantly recommend the professional model. It's worth the little extra!

I owned an Oster Kitchen Center (included a stand mixer) for 20+ years, so saw no need for another. Then I moved to another state after 15 years in the same house and decided to pass the O.K.C. to my daughter (just graduated from college, and was glad to have it). Purchased the KitchenAid at Sam's Black Friday promotion--just couldn't pass it up. So now it's Christmas, which equals baking. I've mixed 3 batches of cookies today and all I can think is WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG??? Bowl is perfect size for a decent size batch, and mixing is superior. Some people on other sites have commented on the noise. Well, it's a mixer with a decent motor, so it's not *quiet* but I certainly don't think the noise is excessive. Thinking about making cinnamon rolls in the morning so I can use the dough hook.

I /love/ this mixer. I cannot say that enough. I purchased it before Thanksgiving 2015 and picked up a spare bowl for it and I cannot even begin to tell you how useful it was when I was making quick-breads and even the dinner rolls for Thanksgiving this year. The bowl is sturdy and easy to clean and the instructions on the basic operation of the mixer are super clear. All in all, it works like a breeze and has taken time out of my prep work where I had to constantly stand and mix with a spatula or standing there hoping that the batters and doughs I put together would not break my handmixer. The bowl-lift design of this stand mixer makes kneading doughs simple and you won't have to worry about overtaxing the mixer because it does not have the tilt-head design that can sometimes lead to thicker, stickier doughs not mixing properly. Bottom line? Get this mixer if you do holiday baking or if you like to make bread. It can easily handle enough dough for two loaves at once.

Very disappointed with this No.1 expensive brand name mixer. It is shaking and moving when mixing dough on high speed. It fell off my kitchen counter and made two big dents on my hardwood floor. Wondering how this No.1 expensive KitchenAid mixer became the No.1 seller???
