BUY FOR YOUR PURPOSE

The Kitchenaid Professional 5 Qt mixer is a great choice for the serious home baker. It's powerful 475 watt motor will enable you to handle even bread or pizza dough easily. If the bowl size is to small for your needs, consider a Kitchenaid 8qt Professional mixer. For the average home baker the 5qt Professional is an excellent choice.

Mixer jerk off countertop damage hardwood floor

Very disappointed with this No.1 expensive brand name mixer. It is shaking and moving when mixing dough on high speed. It fell off my kitchen counter and made two big dents on my hardwood floor. Wondering how this No.1 expensive KitchenAid mixer became the No.1 seller???

Excellent Purchase

I know there are other models that can be purchased but the price for this product at Sam's could not be beat! I used the "Click and Pull" feature whichade the purchase even easier. I have been cooking up a storm with this mixer. I would defiantly recommend the professional model. It's worth the little extra!

Awesome Machine!

This KitchenAid powers through 6 cups of flour for dough, and grinds cheese, meat and bar soap (I make my own laundry detergent) with ease. My son gave this to me as a gift. I gave him my old KitchenAid that's as old as he is and he's 23! This is an even better one than the one I had. I probably used my old one (literally) about 1,000 times, and this new one seems like it will last just as long.

It's noisy

The motor is loud and the quality of the mixer is less than my smaller kitchen aid stand mixer. The ingredients would fly out of the mixer and I would think since it's bigger, it wouldn't do that. It doesn't do it with my 4 quart mixer. Overall, I would just buy/keep my 4 quart.

This purchase was a Christmas present for my son. He said he likes it and it works fine. However; I bought this item from Sam's Club because of the $50.00 mail in rebate. The initial price was the same as other on line sights, but I thought that I would order through Sam's as I could save 50.00. As yet I have seen nothing about a rebate. I asked my son if their was anything in the package, but there was not. My next step is to try and contact Sam's Club about this rebate

Excellent piece of equipment!!!!

Beautiful crafted candy red machine. I have been putting it off for years, I didn't want to pay the price for one of these mixers. I couldn't wait any longer once I saw this amazing deal at Sam's. One that I do not regret. I have not had any issues with removing the bowl, or putting it back on. You can mix large batches of dough, or whatever you want to bake very easy, well I did. I personally I do not have a issue with the sound at all. I got a blender that's louder than this mixer, and the mixer is not going to running all-day so I don't care how loud its. It is a large mixer and I expected that, and it has some weight to it. It is a solid piece of equipment. So far all of the metal attachments are showing no signs of peeling. But I have only had it a week though. As long as it continue to function that's all I need it to do. I love this mixer it may not be for everyone but it is great for me, and it is a great deal! So that is a Great combination for me.

Love The Pro Five Plus

Love this mixer. Bought the blue model. The color is Blue Velvet according to the box. Made cakes and cookies so far. This made my baked goods so much lighter and fluffier. The 5 quart bowl is perfect for large batches. The bonus 3 quart bowl and small wisk made my boiled frostings and meringues turn out great. The bonus spoon with slot to clean the beaters is great. The flat beater and dough hook can be put in the dishwasher but don't put the wire whisks in the dishwasher. Love my Kitchenaid

Must have essential!

Love love love this!! I got the aqua and it looks so retro! Love that it came with 2 bowls and attachments for both. This was our second purchase - had to have one in each home! I like to make home made pasta! Definitely good for dough; and you can get some pretty cool attachments that make spirals out of zucchini and squash (to use like noodles!), shred cheese and vegetables and so much more. Very versatile - oh gosh I sound like an infomercial!

I received the mixer very soon after I ordered but

When we took the mixer out of the box I immediately read the instructions and found that we needed to adjust the beater so it wouldn't rest on the side or bottom of the bowl. We turned the screw 1/2 turn as instructed and it was still resting on the bottom. I called customer service at Kitchen Aid, and after trying to turn the screw farther, unsuccessfully, I got instructions on how to send it back to the company. It will be 6 weeks plus before I should expect a replacement. I plan to return the replacement to Sam's for a refund. With Christmas baking without a stand mixer, using a hand mixer, I discovered I could actually get used to the hand mixer. Maybe I just don't need the Kitchen Aid. I received the mixer as a gift.
