Good product, great value, however, beware if you have it shipped.... it's shipped directly in the kitchenaid box. The item sat on my front porch all day (while I was at work) for all to see what I had ordered (the exact product picture is very big on the box), I'm very glad I live in a good neighborhood

I bought with the intentions of being able to fit a 6 qt bowl that I had bought I got sick (flu)so I was not able to take it out put the glass bowl I had to use it. Once I got well got everything out could find my bowl. Cause before the mixer got here I had put my Christmas decor up . My kids accidentally put it up with the Christmas stuff. Once I got everything together it did not fit.

Go this from SAMs, excited to use it. Used once then the stand handle that raised and lowered the bowl broke. Called kitchen aid to find out their "hassle free return" program that came with it is not accurate and they would help me with getting it fixed or replaced. Thank gos SAMs has satisfaction guarantee and took it back with no hassle at all. Ended up going to sears and getting a kenmore elite stand mixer with a tilt head and love it.

I have always wanted to have a Kitchenaid stand mixer as that's what my mom has for the pas 20+ years. She recently bought the Pro Line, and as I would love to own one, I don't see myself splurge $700+ on a mixer that I don't need to make big batches of cookies or dough. This one is the best mixer if you're looking for one that small enough for cookie batch, but also have strong power for bread dough. This has 525 Watt which is perfect for both. And Im so glad The one Sam's club offer has bonus bowl and attachment. FYI, the new model gives 6 qt bowl instead of 5 qt like in the description.

The Kitchenaid Professional 5 Qt mixer is a great choice for the serious home baker. It's powerful 475 watt motor will enable you to handle even bread or pizza dough easily. If the bowl size is to small for your needs, consider a Kitchenaid 8qt Professional mixer. For the average home baker the 5qt Professional is an excellent choice.

I was excited to get a Kitchenaid stand mixer at this great price. I have been a little disappointed though. My old Kitchenaid lift up head mixer was 33 years old and had been wonderful. There is still nothing wrong with it, other than no really slow speed to begin mixing. I gave this one to one of my daughters. My new mixer is much louder than my old one. I do love the extra slow speed to begin combining ingredients. It looks great also. I assumed I would have a much larger mixing bowl, but do not. So, bottom line, I am not sure I would purchase it again.

It's tricky attaching the bowl, but removing it is easy. When the bowl is down, the beater gets into the batter when removing it. Therefore, you can't scrape all the batter off in the bowl until after both are detached. I wish the head raised up like my original Kitchenaid. It's nice for making double batches, but wish the bowl was taller, not wider, as you have to use the lowest speed when adding anything, otherwise the ingredients tend to spray out. But, I got the chrome colored one, so that's a plus.

This purchase was a Christmas present for my son. He said he likes it and it works fine. However; I bought this item from Sam's Club because of the $50.00 mail in rebate. The initial price was the same as other on line sights, but I thought that I would order through Sam's as I could save 50.00. As yet I have seen nothing about a rebate. I asked my son if their was anything in the package, but there was not. My next step is to try and contact Sam's Club about this rebate

I was sent a used blender. Opened mixer out of the box and pieces seemed just thrown in the box plus the cord had flour residue on it and the bowl had dried batter on it. I did speak with a supervisor and she was truly empathetic and understanding about how unacceptable this was. I'm not sure what went wrong during the quality check before sending out packages but I am absolutely flabbergasted. I will not be ordering anything anymore.

I was super excited to get this. The attachments reach the bottom of the bowels and so now I have to find washers to put Linder the bowl to make that work. It's more a pain in the butt and harder to actually make things when it comes to having to stir and add ingredients. I honestly prefer my hand mixer to this.
