I can't review this product because I sent it to my Granddaughter in Maine for her Christmas present. I have one and when she lived in Ca. she used mine and after that she always wanted one in red so that is what I got her. I love mine but it is old.

I have one in white. Have owned it for 10+ years and use it almost daily. My daughter was offered my old mixer and turned it down. I purchased this one for her for Christmas and her Birthday and it appears to be a big hit with her! I love mine and would not trade it for the world.

Right out of the box it was damaged! Had gouges in it paint, Hinge hub cover crooked and the large elliptical whip wire not connected. I called KitchenaAid nothing they could do that I have to deal with Sam's Club. The other problem besides all the issues, it was delivered in 3 days and when I called for a replacement the guy he told me I had to run it to the store for a replacement or I would have to wait up to 7 business days for a replacement. So I drove to my local store (40 mins each way) and received the new one and it seems to be fine. 2.5 hrs. later and $60 in gas. (NOT HAPPY!).

I've been wanting one of these for a few year and one was finally in sale. I couldn't wait to try it out. I set it all up but the power wouldn't work. I clicked it a few times and it finally started spinning. When I tried to add my flour, there was no room. I clicked the lever to lower the bowl down but the bowl is so small and the paddle so big, that I couldn't pour anything in the bowl while it was attached to the mixer. So I had to unlatch the bowl,add the flour, and put it back in. It was a pain. Then when I went to mix it again, the power wouldn't come back on. When I returned it today,the lady at the front didn't seem surprised about the power issue. For a kitchen tool that is so expensive, I was unpleasantly surprised at the poor quality and mechanical issues.

I bought this mixer October 2021. Every time I use the mixer it sounds like a freight train. It makes more clunky noise with each use. This is my second kitchen aid mixer…never had a problem with my first one, just wore out. I am so disappointed with this mixer. Also when I first turn it on I get no speed until I turn it up to six. Not sure if they made changes to the mixer or if I just got a lemon. I should have returned it right away but I needed the mixer with the holidays that were coming up. Am seriously looking at purchasing a different brand of stand mixer. Just not happy!

I love KitchenAid! I own many KitchenAid products! Since I am someone who loves to bake ALOT, I was excited to find the bundle at my local Sam's Club. My mother and daughter purchased it for me as a gift and when I got it home, the spatula was missing. I feel cheated, but when I called KitchenAid, I was being led in circles and finally Just gave up.

Club friends, don't buy unless your need is in an industrial business kitchen. Definitely not what we expected (horrible presentation/description/marketing in particular) and still waiting for an escalated response back from Customer Service to even accomplish a simple straightforward return for refund. Very disappointing experience from Sam's thus far, and as a loyal member.

Love the mixer but didn't receive the $ 50.00 mail in rebate as advertised which didn't make the price as good as expected the main reason the mixer was bought. I haven't gave a review since I had a heart attack, and this didn't seem as important.. If you would e-mail me a rebate coupon it would be appreciated . Thank You, Nancy Leggett

I bought the Pro 5 Plus 5 qt mixer a few days ago. I've been wanting a stand mixer for years! I've already used it several times and everything I've made has come out terrific! No problems with mixing at all. My concern is that just today I saw someone post that the attachments have unsafe amounts of lead. I've seen Kitchenaid's response saying that the attachments are safe. However, I'd feel so much better using my mixer if I had steel attachments. I heard Kitchenaid was not replacing the hooks. So now I'm stuck. I can't afford to replace the attachments myself since I just spent so much money buying the mixer. Help!

I'm so happy that I purchased this mixer from Sam's. Not only was it a great price, but there is also a $50 rebate which made it an even better price. I had the smaller KitchenAid mixer, but had wanted a larger mixer for years. I couldn't be happier. Plus, Sam's delivered my order within a few days which was great!
