Bought this for my mother-in-law and she absolutely loves it. She bakes a lot and said it has made things so much easier for her that she wants to make so many things all at once! I was worried about storage space because it's fairly large, but it never gets put away because it's used so frequently. Good thing it's gorgeous!

What took me so long to purchase this stand mixer? I love to cook but I don't do too much baking. Well, I can't really say that anymore. This makes things so easy you want to bake. It does so much. It makes it so easy to make bread, cakes, muffins, brownies and the list goes on and on. Did I mention pasta? Okay, you won't probably lose weight if you have one of these in your household but you will love it! I should have bought this years ago!!

When I got it, the box was huge, then I took the mixer out of the box. Wow! It is so big, and heavy. I haven't used it yet, but I'm looking forward to making something! I love the color and all the attachments. It's much bigger than my other one, which is somewhere in storage building. Now I have two mixers but this one is a keeper!

An avid baker for many years, I finally purchased one of these machines. I already had a Bosch mixer, which I love for making bread, but with the versatility of the KitchenAid stand mixer and the $100 off sale at Sam's Club, I thought it was time to try this kitchen favorite. First, I tired making bread with it, to see if can stand to the kneading. I have burned a motor in a mixer before (other than the Bosch), so that was the big test. Important factor for me in this Professional grade mixer was that it has an overheating protection for the motor, so that it shuts off if overworked. Came to find out, the machine kneaded up to two loaves of bread beautifully, with no pauses for overheating. The quality of the bread was the next criteria. After all, that is also the test for the machine. For my first loaves, I did not knead the dough long enough, so though the bread was tasty, the texture was somewhat crumbly. I soon learned that in order to gain the necessary elasticity to produce a good texture, the dough has to be kneaded for 15-20 minutes. That is about twice as long as with my Bosch, but the time is not really that big of a factor for me, as along as the results are good. After I learned to knead long enough, the loaves have come out perfect in texture. I have also used the mixer to make quick bread (cranberry) and cookies. Both came out very well. I had to adjust the height of the bowl from the little screw to get the blade and the dough hook to come close enough to the bottom of the bowl so that all the ingredients get incorporated. I still sometime have to swipe the sides of the bowl to help the ingredients get mixed in, but that does not bother me. It is still like having an extra set of hands to help you with the baking chores. I think this is one of the smallest Professional grade KitchenAid mixers, but it is still very powerful, it has the overheating protection, and it will handle most of your baking preparations beautifully. I highly recommend this product for the serious baker!

I bought this as a gift to myself after years of wanting one. I'm so glad I did! I love to bake and cook, and I can't wait to start getting ask of the attachments. This is so many kitchen gadgets in one. I have many did allergies so I have to cook a lot of all natural foods and this is literally a lifesaver and will save money on the long run. I bought it at a fantastic price and it seems to be great quality that will last many years.

This stand mixer was a great buy so after many years of putting it off I took the leap and purchased my first Kitchenaid product. It definitely does the work and does it very well. However, the aluminum alloy attachments left me a little bummed when the flat beater was leaving gray stains in the dough's I was making. Although I know the gray is not toxic, it's aluminum oxide, it did not look pretty. I have purchased the white coated accessories and they work beautifully.

I love the Kitchen Aid mixer. I have owed one for over 20 years. Even Though there was nothing wrong with my old one that my grandmother gave me when she bought a new kitchen Aid mixer. I decided to get the left style with a larger bowl and motor. I passed the older one down to my younger sister. My father was a professional Baker went to School in Europe to become a Baker by trade . My Father purchased a Kitchen Aid mixer over 45 years ago for my mother. It lasted her over 30 years. The mixer was used almost daily in our home. She had the grinder attachment for the mixer. Nothing beats the quality of a Kitchen Aid mixer.

My grandson Callyn wanted a kitchen aide mixer so we got the family together and got him a5qt pro model. He loves to cook and bake and as we are a kitchen aide family , my dad and father in law both worked at Hobart in Troy Ohio. I was always happy with my first 5 at. My parents bought for me at a farm sale 50 years ago. It has a round fuse that screwed into the back and when it finally stopped working, I got a new 5qt. I hope his gets him though cookies for half time at football games and all the other events of raising a family like mine did.It is a good product.I wish someone would have thought of the new spachla beater.years ago

I bought this mixer for my daughter and she loves it! We have been looking for a stand up mixer for a while and glad we decided on thus one. The extra bowl and whisk that came with works perfect for her icings. She prefers the arm lift verses the tilt head also.

I did not even know that I needed this. I recently broke my hand mixer so I decided to give this a try. I was a little intimidated by it but it was so easy to use! It is heavy duty and I don't have to worry about breaking it by mixing something heavy! It comes with two bowls which is fantastic and other parts so that you can get so much done at once! The spatula that comes with it is great as it cleans the mix right away from the mixer attachment! This product is easy to use and to clean which is a major pro in my kitchen! It is of great quality and value for the price! I plan on purchasing more in the future for my daughters!
