My grandson Callyn wanted a kitchen aide mixer so we got the family together and got him a5qt pro model. He loves to cook and bake and as we are a kitchen aide family , my dad and father in law both worked at Hobart in Troy Ohio. I was always happy with my first 5 at. My parents bought for me at a farm sale 50 years ago. It has a round fuse that screwed into the back and when it finally stopped working, I got a new 5qt. I hope his gets him though cookies for half time at football games and all the other events of raising a family like mine did.It is a good product.I wish someone would have thought of the new spachla beater.years ago

Received as Christmas gift. This is my first-ever quality appliance. Its ease of use encourages me to cook and bake more frequently as I normally avoid it. I figured my teal mixer would mainly be a decor piece for my kitchen, but I am finding myself using it more and more.

I bought one of these last Black Friday for my son and he couldn't stop talking about. I got another one for my step son and his wife this Black Friday. By far the best deal anywhere for this specific amount of items in this box. I've owned one for 22 years and it works perfect

I have always want a professional model of this kitchen aide mixer, finally decided to get it this year. I always am making double batches of cookie dough around Christmas, now I can do the double once, instead of making two separate batches, sure save me time and effort.

Santa brought me an HD series Mixer for Christmas. I already have a 3qt, and wasn't sure that it was worth upgrading, since I only use it for my personal home cooking needs. Boy, was I wrong. The first thing that became obvious to me were all the touch points. I no longer have to scrape the bowl every couple of minutes. My previous mixer had a tilt head, which I though was a good idea at the time. It turned out to be a hassle because I had to pull it out from under the upper cabinet every time I wanted to use it. I love the lift up bowl. I could go on and on, but I need to go make something in my new Heavy Duty mixer!

I would have given it 5 stars if the 3-quart bowl came with a flat beater. The combi-whip that came with the 3-quart bowl is designed to double duty as a “flat beater” and also as a whip; great concept but when mixing cookie batters, heavy batters get stuck in the wires so that I have to get them out before they will mix any more. I have seen reviewers asking KitchenAid to make a flat beater for the 3-quart bowl dating back 4 years ago, still no flat beater for the 3-quart bowl. Kitchen Aid, please make a flat beater for the 3-quart bowl.

Love my new KitchenAid stand mixer! Sam's had the best price around and had it in my choice of colors-red! It has two bowls with two whips, a dough hook and a heavy duty spatula. You can also add all sorts of attachments like a food processor, a meat grinder and a pasta press.

Not as quality as they used to be. I have a couple different KitchenAid stand mixers and this thing rattles like it's made out of a Pepsi can. I'm very disappointed as my 5 year old mixer is such a workhorse and just does what it is supposed to but this thing sounds like a easy bake oven level mixer. I'm going to take it back and buy a nice guitar.

Purchased this mixer as a replacement for a similar model. I knew I was going to be purchasing another of the same brand, but was unsure of the model to choose this time around. After a lot of researching and pricing, I decided on this one. I really like the high wattage, through research I read how the higher wattage coincides with durability. I also like the soft start feature this one offers. Although my past mixer and this one are both the professional models, the newer model seems to be more heavy duty. I wish my bowls from the older model we're interchangeable with the new. Since I am very familiar with this brand and the product I feel confident in my purchase and feel that Sam''s price at my time of purchase made this very enticing.
