Every batch of dough I made turned out perfect, and I will never go back to hand kneading bread again. I also got the added bonus of being able to buy attachments like the meat grinder!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought me one for my birthday. He purchased the one with the crank that raises and lowers the bowl. After using it the first time I would not recommend this style. It is very cumbersome to try to scrape the bowl when mixing. I would have much preferred the style where the head raises and the bowl moves freely. If I had not already used it I would return it.

I try to use it at least once every week to make cinnamon rolls, pizza dough, and anything else I wanted to make from scratch. The recipes are endless with the stand mixer alone and all the attachments. Worth the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift. Had I bought the mixer, I would have preferred the tilt head type. I also was disappointed to find when I wanted to purchase a flex-edge attachment for the Professional 5 Plus I had to have a long chat online with your representative to locate the correct attachment. When the rep finally gave me the # for that attachment, many of the reviews complained of chipping off of surface of the attachment so I hesitate buying one.

My older kitchen aid is starting to slow down and it didn't have the power to kneed dough for long periods of time, without getting extremely hot. I will use my new one for dough and the other for mixing. Great product can't wait to make ice cream with attachments I got for Christmas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a bit of a rough start with this; it shipped with the wire whisk attached to the beater shaft, and I couldn't get the wire whisk off no matter how hard I pushed and pulled. I was very frustrated and nearly returned it. Luckily my son-in-law was able to remove it for me with the help of some WD-40. I was glad I watched videos on how to remove the bowl from the lift arms; that would have been very frustrating as well. Once I was able to use it I really liked it, and I prefer it to my daughter's tilt-head KitchenAid stand mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my old stand mixer and ended up having to use it anyway because this one didn't come with a shield and as soon as I turned it on the stuff flew everywhere. This thing is unusable with out a shield as far as I'm concerned. Unless you like having to clean flour dust through out whole house for the next month. Or in this case powdered sugar.

I really enjoy baking in my free time and my KitchenAid mixer makes the process so much easier and faster! The only downside is the lift bowl mixer doesn't have access to the cute bowls or bread bowls that the other one does but that's just personal preference.
