I have always had good results with KitchenAid brand and have heard that their mixers are the best. It is true! I do a lot of baking - the dough hook worked great on enriched dough for cinnamon rolls. The motor can handle heavy batches of cookie dough. I wish I had bought this years ago!!! I am going to purchase the shield as I think this will make it easier to add ingredients while operating. And I am also going to purchase the pasta attachments. It is great to have one appliance for multiple uses rather than single use appliances!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used it 3 times and like the effiecientcy of mixing. I wish the arm was hinged though due to the awkwardness of removing the beaters. I plan to buy a bowl guard to reduce the splattering. Overall, I am glad I purchased it

Disappointed that the mixer is louder than my smaller kitchen aid and often spills contents onto the counter tops. Maybe a learning curve on my end but put a damper on my holiday baking.

I've been baking and decorating cakes for many years, and my husband thought he would upgrade my mixer. While I do like it (love the color), it is lacking a bit. The bowl is more shallow and wider. I make a mess trying to do multiple batches that I had no problem doing with my old mixer. And the beater sits too high in the bowl, leaving unmixed dry ingredients at the bottom. This is the same for the smaller bowl and beater. I tried whisking up 2 egg whites, and it couldn't do it. The beater wasn't far enough into the bowl to reach them. Whoke I use this mixer almost every day, and will continue to do s, I was a bit disappointed in the design of this machine, compared to my older model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my stand mixer as a Christmas gift one year ago. I wondered at the time how often I would use it. All the time! Not only is it great for baking but it makes weeknight meals so easy. I use my mixer to combine ingredients in meatloaf or hamburger patties, to shred precooked chicken and pork, mash potatoes, and so much more. Clean up is easy because everything goes in the dishwasher. I can't wait to buy more attachments!

The only thing that could help tis mixer would be a mixer bowl cover so flour and powder won't go everywhere and add a pour shoot on it. Then it would be prefect machine .Love the smooth operation of the mixer. Very powerful. Well made mixer, would buy again. Well worth the money!

I couldn't wait!!) and everything was SO easy to use!! So easy and convenient and looks fantastic on my countertop! LOVE it!
