I have used it for everything including sausage balls which used to require me to mix by hand. The big bowl easily held all of the ingredients and the flat beater paddle mixed it up in minutes. I love that the bowl lifts up and down. It fit easily on my countertop under the cabinets since the head doesn't have to tilt. Cupcakes and cakes have been a breeze. Excellent choice!

After the first loaf of hand-kneading, I knew I needed a kitchenaid as it was a mess. The last few loaves I've made using it and it kneads the bread so perfectly, so smooth. Made my sourdough bread so much better and sped up the process at the same time.

Everything what is mixed have beautiful texture and I just love it. If I new how grant is this mixer I would buy it long time ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer because my previous mixer broke due to overheating and not being able to lift the head to remove the bowl.this mixer is much easier to remove the bowl due to the clamp and handle to lift up and down the bowl. Works great so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid 4.5 QT Stand Mixer is a great asset to my kitchen. I was afraid it would be loud when mixing, this is not so. The mixer is smooth running and is really very quiet. It mixes well and I especially love the "stir" feature for just folding in food items into the mix. Wonderful product!
