This mixer takes a little getting used to. Placing the bowl on the stand is a bit tough because the spring clip on the mixer is very stiff. But I guess this is to make sure the bowl doesn't slip. I purchased this because I bake a lot and tend to make large recipes. So the bigger capacity and motor are a plus. I have burnt up some motors before. Love the extras that come with it. The smaller bowl is very handy. Haven't had the opportunity to use the dough hook or whips but the dough hook has a nonstick surface, which is a plus.

I bought this a couple of months ago. So far it works great, I made many cakes, and cookies with it. I always enjoyed cooking and baking, and have always wanted one. The price I paid was fantastic only $219 on sale at Sam's Club. So it was price I could not pass up. I remember baking with my Mom (hers was a 1950's Model) and that lasted for decades. After feeling the many bad on line reviews and the many good ones I took a chance and bought this one. So far it works great! not a single issue.

Kitchen Aid was part of my mother's kitchen. I learned to bake with a Kitchen Aid mixer. Now I have a mixer of my own, and I love it! One day I will teach my daughter how to bake using a Kitchen Aid. We are a Kitchen Aid Family! The only negative I observed is that the newer models appear to be less sturdy. I hope my new mixer will last as long as my mother's.

I bought this mixer on a special sale about a month ago and baking has become more fun and less complicated since then. I am not experienced in the kitchen and I thought I would have trouble learning how to use it, but when I saw my husband trying it out and doing great I realized that there was no reason to fear. It is VERY easy to operate. Easy to clean too!

I've only had mine for about two weeks,however, I've used my sisters mixer years before and know she's had it for three years already and loves it and I know I'll love mine for the years to come :). I've already used it once and it being holiday season plan on using it a whole lot :)

The KitchenAid Professional 5 Quart Mixer is truly a great machine. It is powerful and preforms beyond my expectations. I no longer have to knead my breads by hand! I have wanted this mixer for a long time and since it was on sale, it was a bargain I couldn't refuse.

I bought this as a Valentine's Day gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. She used it to make cookies and other sweets and is excited to get the other attachments to go along with it. Works very well and is sleek enough to stay on the counter but out of the way.

Great product! I've owned kitchenaid mixers before and I don't remember them being as loud as this thing is! It works perfectly, it's just noisy! Very disappointed that Sam's Club did not put this in another box to ship it. It was shipped and left out in it's retail box. It was very obvious what was in the box. Thank goodness we live in a rural area and no porch pirates took the box.

I have wznted a KitchenAid stand mixer for MANY years.i finally got thr chsnce to get one and i am so glad i did. It mskes making my bread dough so much easier. I also love being able to walk away while things are mixing which yoi cznnot do with a hand-held mixer. Wish i could hsve bought one sooner.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She said she has been wanting one for many years and she cannot believe The speed and the ease of her machine. It is far more superior over her hand held and old base mixers that she has had in the past. She LOVES her KitchenAid mixer.
