I've only used it twice, but let me tell you how amazing this machine is when you're making mashed potatoes! I normally use a mixer, and have to stand there the whole time while I get my consistency just perfect, but with this, I add all my ingredients turn it on and can continue with other things and not have to worry about the potatoes! I absolutely LOVE it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since the purchase of this product approximately a Month ago my husband has been in heaven! I have been baking bread, cookies, cake, you name it! Due to my arthritis and difficulty using my hands, everything is so easy to mix up now and I don't even mind the clean up as it really is simple to take apart and clean up in a timely manner. I love it! It's the best gift my husband could have purchased me. There's gingerbread in the oven right now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have made 12 batches of cookies and 2 Danish Kringle. (Coffee cake). Awesome mixer. They need to have a design change because it is difficult to remove the beater from the mixer after the dough has been mixed . They need to redesign the top motor. You should be able to de-tach the beater blade from the mixer head and then turn the beater head to the right or left away from the bowl. Then the bowl can easily be lifted from the machine without fighting trying to get the mixing blade out of the bowl while it is swallowed up by the pastry dough. This would be a major improvement. Too difficult to get the mixing blade out of the full bowl of dough.

I like the wider bowl, and the flat beater and dough hook are coated, so if they end up in the dishwasher, they won't be ruined. The motor is not as loud as I was expecting, and has a nice slow start feature. Very glad I was able to replace my mixer at a very good price.

The bowl is difficult to latch in place, the flat beater tends to push everything against the side of the bowl so you constantly have to scrape. I wish it had come with a shield so things aren't flying out of the bowl when mixing.

I have made two types of bread and cookies so far in the first week and a half and I'm on the prowl for more recipes to try. My daughter got one for her wedding few years ago and we are now recipes back and forth. Wish I had purchased it sooner.

I have been wanting a stand mixer for a while but couldn't justify the price until Sam's Black Friday deal plus an additional rebate from Kitchenaid. I purchase the Copper one and I love it!! The color is awesome! Plus it has a little retro feel to it. I used it for the first time today and it works like a gem!! I can't wait to use it again!

I can cook pretty well, but baking wasn't something I was very well versed in. This unit has made it fun to do some experimenting with scones, cookies, desserts etc. to make for my kids.
