I am very happy with this mixer. I have had a KitchenAid in the past and really liked it. I have used it a few times already since purchasing to make a few cakes, batches of buttercream, and chocoloate chip cookies. The speeds were really good for mixing everything and it is easy to handle. I also enjoy having an extra bowl and the spatula to get batter off of the mixing tools. Great for large batch recipes.

I'm not a frequent user of a stand mixer, it takes a pretty big cooking application for me to want to move it to where it's usable. I bought it and the pasta maker attachment to make noodles for the holidays last year. That job it handled great, saved a lot of time. I did find myself making cookies just to use the mixer again. It's easy to assemble, easy to clean. The only drawback for me is having to move it's rather heavy, awkward bulk from the counter to the island where I use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the mixer. Got it for Christmas. However, the attachments said they were dishwasher safe on top rack. Did so, and my paddle got completely messed up. Not very happy about the false advertisement. But the mixer works well.

This was a birthday gift for my eldest daughter. She has a new ranch home and is very excited about this for her new kitchen. She wanted the red one. Loves it for the work that it does as well as the beauty that it adds! She has a 20 year old white one in her Dallas home.

Bought about a month ago. The only thing I noticed was that there was some sort of gray dust in the first cake batter I made. I cleaned everything very well but still noticed some gray substance swirling around the bowl after a couple of minutes. Think it came from where the motor is above the beater socket. Other than that, it's been great.

The Kitchenaid Professional, I've only used it a few times so far. Instructions are clear and concise. Product registration is easy- go to KitchenAid's.The setup was pretty straight forward but putting the bowl on and off takes a little practice. I ran the appliance for five minutes on each setting to make sure it operated properly. It's a time saver and has made cooking fun again. Makes short work of mashed potatoes (no lumps!) and it's easy to clean afterwards. I wanted to do some bread making and also prepare rolls. I also bake cakes quite a bit. This thing is fantastic! Bread kneads in 2 minutes. I make a lot more handicrafted gourmet type breads now. It's well worth the price!! I've wanted one of these my entire adult life, but just couldn't justify the price. So if you are like me and are second guessing yourself about getting yourself one, get yourself one, you won't regret it.....

I have owned my mixer for many years and my daughter wanted one. This Blue color compliments her kitchen beautifully. I taught my daughter to make her first ever pie crusts and they came out great! I must admit, her's is much cuter than mine and she loves it!

I didn't like having to remove the beater attachment out before removing the bowl. Only other option I saw is to tilt bowl and that could easily cause it to spill bc of the deep tilt to clear mixer attachment. I ended up returning this mixer for that reason.

I bought this mixer recently and have absolutely no regrets. It can handle heavy duty batters. I love that i can get it started and leave it mixing while I add ingredients. It's virtually hands free. I love mine so much I've bought them for my kids as they move out!

I absolutely love Kitchen Aid products and will recommend them to everyone. Have the mixer, food processer, hand mixer and several attachments. Great appliances. Have also bought three of my four kids kitchen aid mixers. Will purchase the next one for the fourth child soon.
