[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the tilt head classic mixer for over a decade and have made pizza dough with it weekly for many years. It's finally on its last leg so we bought the Delux tilt head to replace it. The delux supposedly had a 300W motor versus the old classic that was 275W, but this new mixer really struggles with the same dough recipe we've been making for years. I'm not confident that this new mixer will last very long and am considering returning it.

With this upgrade, I'm not a huge fan of the bowl lift but that might just take some getting used to. The motor was also louder on this new one which isn't great. Overall it works well and gets the job done!

We've used it to make cookies, added the chopping attachment that speeds up cooking prep a ton, allowing us to make more ambitious meals on a work night (plus it's fun to drop the veggies in and see them go thunk thunk in the bowl)! During that time I went through several stand and hand held mixers due to burning out the motors with heavy dough recipes. So, in the long run I would have been better off purchasing this a long time ago. Easy to use and clean, and makes baking even more enjoyable.
