I've also bought 2 new accessories that take the place of other appliances taking up space on my counter. I'm excited again about cooking new recipes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter who bakes a lot. She loves it and the turquoise color. It's a great appliance with an awesome holiday special bundle. Also be careful selecting the attachments for the bowl size you are using. My daughter forgot to switch the bowls and her mix started flying everywhere including the mixer shaking like crazy. This was a bit scary. The only thing I'd change is how mixing bowls lock in. She cut her finger trying to clip them in. The is a major safety flaw or I'd give it a 5 star rating. Other than those things, it is an awesome mixer.

I like the wide mouth bowl easier to add ingredients - only down side is trying to find the right size shield to buy for the bowl. no listing on Kitchenaid's web site - I tried live chat - 206 minute wait time!! made a phone call 90 Minute wait time - no thanks. I think I found one on another web site - hopefully it will fit. again - great mixer - lousey support

To my surprise, it is exceptionally louder than my previous Kitchen Aid mixer, but works well. If you are looking for something quite this is not the mixer for you. It is loud but works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my first KitchenAid mixer 40 years ago and only bought a new one to have a larger bowl. I will still use the older mixer during the holidays to give me twice the mixing power. I have many of the attachments, meat grinder, pasta maker, spiralizer, flour sifter, and a few others. I love the ease of attaching the accessories and how they make cooking and baking easier. I use the meat grinder to grind beef roast on sale, then use the flat beater to incorporate eggs and seasonings to make meatloaf or meatball. They are so well blended and flavorful.

But this Is a Kitchen Aid Professional 5 Plus and the mixture does not lift up, the bowl lowers. The. You have to release the bowl from it's secure position. This is difficult for me, because I have had several hand surgeries. I should have studied before purchasing. But it beats the old mixer I had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a month of use I can say that the machine is a workhorse that carries the heavy load of baking, which is the mixing of ingredients and (for bread) the cumbersome kneading process. I've used the product exclusively for bread, specifically white loaves, hamburger rolls and pizza dough, all of which require extensive kneading and wear-and-tear on wrists and elbows. Baking bread has become a joy and this machine will definitely put me within reach of not having to purchase bread anymore. The only real issue is having to stop the machine to add ingredients- there is a device that enables you to add ingredients while the machine is operating, but it is an add-on cost and it really should have been included.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the tilt head classic mixer for over a decade and have made pizza dough with it weekly for many years. It's finally on its last leg so we bought the Delux tilt head to replace it. The delux supposedly had a 300W motor versus the old classic that was 275W, but this new mixer really struggles with the same dough recipe we've been making for years. I'm not confident that this new mixer will last very long and am considering returning it.
