Love it. Whips egg whites up fast much faster than my other mixer. I love the fact that the tools come off like it does. I will be buying the splatter guard, I think it should come with it but it's ok. Plan on getting the sausage stuffer, grinder and fruit grinder. Thanks for a great product.

I bought the KitchenAid Professional Heavy-Duty Stand Mixer for my son and his wife for Christmas but they couldn't wait till Christmas to start using it. They love that it has ten speeds. It is easy to use and clean. They can make four times more batter or dough without worrying about the motor being over worked. The bread they made was tasty and their prep time was less than half the time it took before they got the KitchenAid. They love the color selection and got the color that matches their kitchen. They said they don't know how they ever managed without a mixer before. They would recommend this mixer to their friends and family. It is a must have tool to any baker. I've always wanted a KitchenAid stand mixer. Their reputation is well earned and well deserved. Sam's pricing on this model made it impossible to pass up, and I'm glad I didn't. It's everything I was lead to believe. And with this model I got an extra smaller bowl, whisk, and spatula. I'll be happy for years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting to kitchen Aid mixer for 5 years and finally got one for my birthday about 3 weeks ago. I'm a Avid Baker so I've been using it almost every day and it still manages to impress me. I've made bread dough pierogi dough cupcakes icing. The only thing that I would change is I would put somewhere to hang the cord.

I bought this after looking for years and years at a KitchenAid but didn't want one because the way it leaves dry ingredient in the bottom of the bowl. My husband convinced me to buy one. He found an after market beater with a rubber scraper. It went from a great mixer to a EXCELLENT mixer.

I wish I had the chance to use one before I bought one. It is hard to scrape the sides of the bowl while it is mixing. Also, it is hard to add ingredients to the bowl, unless you completely stop the mixing process. The space is very narrow to add ingredients. It functioned well, it did what it was supposed to. Not sure I would spend this much on this mixer again.

This is a nice mixer and is probably very good for some people. For me it is way too heavy and too tall. It weighs about 30 pounds and takes up too much counter space. In order to store it in my kitchen cabinet I would have to eliminate the shelf above the mixer . I received it as a Christmas gift and really did not want to return it, but it was necessary.

Bought this about a month ago. Couldn't believe how fast it mixes my cookie dough and icing. Works great compared to other mixers we have had. It is pretty loud and has a high pitched noise. I guess that's expected with the motor being as big as it is.

I have had my own Kitchen Aid mixer for at least 50 years & used a professional one when cooking at camp as a young adult & won't buy any other kind. I have gifted my kids & grandkids with Kitchen Aid mixers, because they are made to used & last. The best!

I bought this for my youngest daughter for a wedding gift on a black Friday sale. I also received a $60 visa gift card. I have 5 daughters and all have had the choice of a Kitchen Aid or money. 4 out of 5 have chose a Kitchen Aid, each a different color. I absolutely love mine. I use it often! It is an expensive investment, but totally worth it! It is a great product, very reliable and dependable customer service.
