I always have to make my noodles by hand mixing before and now I can actually get other things finished and not kill my hands in the process. Next purchase will be the noodle roller and cutter attachment

It is great for kneading dough, and it is extremely versatile. Simply adding attachments can turn the mixer into a food processor, pasta maker and more. Great purchase!

It does a have the power I need. The only thing I noticed so far is that it makes more noise than my 25 year old mixer.

I am more use to the tilt-head version that my mother and grandmother used. Being single I feel that this is more mixer than I need. This one seems to weigh a little more and needs a larger place for storage. Maybe I will get use to it and decide to bake/cook more.

Sadly, the head does not tilt, obstructing the addition of ingredients. Even with the shield in place, there's still usually a mess. This mixer would be pretty perfect with a tilting head.

The bowl lift is very convenient as I use it below my kitchen cupboard. It I had to tilt the top I couldn't operate there.
