Loving this so far. I have had the small mixer for over 30 years and the stir setting went out. Flour everywhere even if I mixed it in with a spatula. I had been trying to purchase this one on sale for about 3 years and it was always out of stock. Finally got it ordered earlier this week and just made banana bread. I hope it serves me as well as the very old one.

I purchased the turquoise mixer and it is as pretty as I wanted it to be. I have a 6 qt mixer that I have had forever, but my daughter took it when she moved out. So this bundle seemed like a great deal, and it was. Pros: price, color, extras (bowls, beaters and spoons), delivery. Here is my only complaint and I am comparing it to my old Kitchenaid. They are the same size mixing bowls, however, my old bowl was a bit narrower and taller so I never had anything splash out unless I was going too fast and not paying attention and put flour in. I know, we've all done it at least once. The bowl of this new mixer I got, with the same size bowl capacity is actually wider and shorter so I find that bits easily flip out onto the counter and floor. So I will have to adjust my habits to accommodate for that. So I docked a star for that. I definitely prefer the taller narrower bowl. As far as how it handles. It handles like a classic Kitchenaid. I make bread, cookies, doughs, shred chicken, whip, beat, knead, anything I would have used my old mixer for, this new version does great. So my only issue is the bowl shape, but I will eventually adjust, my husband I'm not so sure. LOL!

I had this item in my cart for a couple of weeks. My sister called to tell me there was an instant coupon. I upgraded my account and chose Aqua Sky. I received it days earlier than I thought. I have a Pro 600 I purchased over 12 years. Something broke off on the Pro. Hopefully, I will be able to get that fixed; however this Pro 5 with the bonus is an awesome deal! I'm remodeling my kitchen and this color is perfect.

I already had a kitchenaid in white fir 26 years and wanted a larger bowl capacity. I would give it to my daughter and get a new one. Sam's was sold out but my husband went to the store and they had 2 left in black which he got. I got hone from work and he had it right there . He tried to call me at work to tell me all they had was black and was unsure whether to get it . I'M SO GLAD HE GOT IT !!! The black Matte is gorgeous!!!! It works so nice as does my old machine. I do wish kitchenaid would make different bowls.

I bought my mixer 6 days ago and I am disappointed with it. I've only used the dough hook so far and it is oxidizing. I understand that it is supposed to be dishwasher safe so I do not understand the nasty black stuff that comes out on top. Also, I searched and searched for a beater blade for this model but every single one of them states that they are not compatible with the Sam's model. I'll give bread making with it one more shot when I have more time in the weekend and if it happens again, I will be returning this.

Well I bought one on these for the great deal or so I thought. I have been using my mothers KSM90 which still works. But I know it won't last forever. I was very disappointed when I went to the Kitchen Aid site to register this new one. I find out this is a refurbished model. Now it didn't say it on any of the boxes or in the store. Has anyone else experienced this? Do I want to take it back?...err yes. Matter of fact as I searched the web there is nothing but refurbished models available. I do know this is an expired model and maybe these are leftovers to eliminate the stock. But really..... customers should know in advanced if these are refurbs. One other thing as I was looking at other reviews at different sites, these "burnished" beaters are not worth anything. They turn black. You would think Kitchen Aid would have stainless steel beaters or at the least the white ones. Does the mixer work? yes. But going to it back to Sam's and talk to the manager to return it.

On receiving my mixer I tried to order mixing bowl covers and, even on the KitchenAid website, could not find them to fit this model of mixer so I emailed the company to inquire. The representative promptly replied with the product number that fits my mixer and apologized that they no longer carry them . With further inquiry I learn that this model has been discontinued! I have no problem with the mixer, it performs excellent, but if I had known that this model has been discontinued, I would have bought a different model. I have already used the mixer so I can't return it. Although it seemed to be a good bargain now, I am stuck with a mixer that I can't get accessories for.
