The small one I use for chopping everything that needs chopping, onion, carrots, nuts, etc. My larger one is perfect for combining butter with sugar & flour for any recipe such as crust, dough or anything that would require cutting in butter. The food processor does a much easier job. I wouldn't want to cook or bake without these appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been thinking about purchasing a mini chopper for awhile. After reading about them, I decided to purchase the KitchenAid, and I love it. I have to admit that getting used to how it works, removing the bowl, and lid, and putting them back correctly took a little time, but now it's totally intuitive, and I will be using this little processor for many years to come. My first chopping experience tonight was hummus, which turned out really good. I wonder how I ever got along without a food processor. This little processor is awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid - 3.5 Cup Food Chopper is small and powerful. I have made smoothies, salsa and sofrito ( Spanish mix for seasoning). I love the top cover which has an opening for adding liquids, a bonus for me. I highly recommend this food chopper.

It broke down the seafood effortlessly and in record time. I have not had a food chopper quite as efficient as this one EVER. The spout is also a great touch, haven't used that feature yet but definitely will soon.

Not only did we just use this to chop onions, jalapenos, cilantro and tomatoes we didn't even need to clean it out from one vegatable to another. Literally made the best salsa ever and only had to clean this unit once. Highly Recommended!!

Definitely get all the pieces in the right spot before adding food, as it can be a little tricky to get everything situation if items already full, but I love that all the prices are dishwasher safe! Makes cleanup so much easier

After watching a video of someone using it, I decided to go ahead and purchase it. So glad I did! It really gets the job done, doesn't take up much space and is easy to clean. It took me a moment to understand how to take it apart for cleaning and remove the top to add food to it. But after that, it's been smooth sailing. I am happy with my purchase.
