Perfect Size for Most Uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I do own a full-size food processor, I have long felt it was too large for most of my chopping/puree needs. I often need to grind up just a handful of dried spice, nuts or seeds for a particular recipe. Instead of having to take out, assemble and then wash my full-size food processor, this Mini Chopper is so much more ready-to-use and easy-to-clean. And since it's much smaller (and quite attractive) it can sit out on my marble countertop and is therefore easily accessible. Unlike the large food processor which I have to take apart and store underneath the counter in a storage cabinet.

Great for salsas and sauces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little chopper. I primarily use it for making salsa and pesto. I can easily combine all my vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients in one place and simply chop or blend. I often struggle with large food processers because the blade isn't low enough to chop all the ingredients. This little chopper is the answer! It gets every little ingredient, all the way to the bottom.

Great power, takes up little space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this KitchenAid 3.5 cup food chopper and found it really useful. I'm a big KitchenAid fan and own several of their products. I find their products to be powerful and last a long time. This food chopper is no exception and certainly has some power especially considering how small it is. For normal use it is more than big enough to use on meal preparation. Where this really shines is the size. I can leave it on my counter or put it in a cabinet close to food prep instead of finding a special place in a pantry or in the basement as the other food processor I have is far too large to leave out and therefor does not get used as much. I have already used this twice and found it is also easy to clean. I can't say enough about how handy this little guy is and being smaller makes it that much more convenient to actually use!

Fast food prep!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been preparing more meals at home and this makes for fast food prep! I love how it chops up veggies quickly. Make cutting onions much more bearable! I love that it's not too big and easily breaks down to go in my dishwasher for easy cleaning! We use it a lot!

Easy to use, effective, quieter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid Food Chopper is easy to use, easy to clean, and does a good job chopping up and puréing food. I like to use it to make a quick fruit smoothie and it gets my ingredients nice and smooth. I like the design that the cord winds around the exterior in a channel so it's nice and tidy when not in use. I also find this model to be quieter than other devices I've used.

Top difficult to attach to base

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hate it!. It is extremely difficult to attach the top to the base. Had to read the directions numerous times to figure out you had to hold the handle and twist. Small appliances should be easy to use, and this isn't! Really surprised at KitchenAid. Normally love their appliances.

Awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really came in handy for me! I stay with my sister's baby a few days a week, and she is just starting to eat solids. I always cut up the strawberries and blueberries by hand, so I was excited to try this out and see if it saved me time. It did a great job! I still prefer to do those specifically by hand, only because I try and make the chunks about the same size, and squared, but for veggies and everything else- it's perfect. And the puree option works FANTASTIC! I was able to make fruit purees for her dessert in literal seconds, and she loves them. I will be getting a lot of use out of this, for both her AND myself!

Compact and no fuss

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a more elaborate and expensive food processor but wasn't able to use it with arthritic hands. This 3.5 cup chopper is easy to handle, there is no aggressive locking mechanism and only one button - so, super simple to control the outcome. I like that the opening on the cap is a funnel for liquids - makes it super easy to multitask pouring and processing. Also, no splash back like the traditional larger opening found in most lids. Pics are of the little cord chamber - great for storage and the toggle switch - simple control of speed.

Best Gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this by a friend because I'm the one who makes the pesto and the hummus and the one I had was old and “skipped” all over the counter. I LOVE this little thing. It's the perfect size, it's efficient and powerful and it crushes nuts without turning them into nut butter. And the “on” by just lightly pressing the cover is easy on my hands. And it never “skips.” Again, LOVE IT! But then I've always been incredibly happy with all my Kitchenaid products, and I have a few.
