I have the old one that is too messy when I use it, but this one is the best. I am glad I get this one for me. This is also easy to clean. I recommend this KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper. It really lacks a punch for how small it is but that doesn't take away from how great it is to have in the kitchen. It really makes chopping easy. Not only is it simple to whip out when needed but it's easy to clean and store when not in use as well.

It does a wonderful job chopping up vegetables and cuts down on recipe times and helps avoid those potential cuts from simple mistakes you can make when chopping vegetables. I love this new small chopper and I love how simple and easy it is for me to use and then put away. I love that it doesn't take it that much space but it still does a lot of the work that I need. no it's not best for a huge family and specially for making a big meal before us. It does the job cause I can whip something up real quickly wash it put it back and go on with everything else. It doesn't make that much noise it's beautiful to look at. It's definitely worth the money.

I also have the 5qt stand mixer in same color-Empire Red. My husband bought it at WalMart & a little bit cheaper there than at other places. This is perfect size for making smaller 2-3 person recipes. The cord winds around the base, it take up very little space, and it's easy to wash!

My son just started purees and I have been using this KitchenAid Food Chopper to make homemade fruit and vegetable purees for him. It works so well and it is easy to clean. Some of the parts are top rack dishwasher safe, but I have just been hand washing it myself. You do have to be careful since the blade is sharp, though! The size is perfect and doesn't take up much storage space. I would highly recommend this to others.
