Love how quick it works and it chops things in the exact size that I need them to be. It is small enough to fit in my apartment and is great for meal prep and preparing food for dinner parties. These companies all described their respective devices as being easy to use, reliable, and powerful enough to handle all your food processing and chopping tasks. They all promised professional results. I'm here to tell you that almost all other contenders fell way short of the mark. This little kitchen aid food chopper/food processor is the only one that is what the others claim. Frankly, it was surprising. It outperformed all the others. I used the first kitchen aid every day 3 Times a day for more than 3 years to prepare my elderly father's meals. He would eat everything my wife and I would eat, but his meals had to be pretty much liquefied and a thicker added so he could swallow it. I'm talking meats, veggies, pasta, everything! It served use for an additional 3 years or so after he passed away and it would still be working if I hadn't lost a part of the trigger mechanism when I last cleaned it. We finally bought the second one just like the first one. It doesn't look like much, but the little thing is nearly bulletproof and reasonably priced. For me, it's a no-brainer. I give it if rating from 1 to 5, 5 being the best I'd give it an 6 and tell you to pick one up you won't be sorry. It worked for me without fail every day perfectly. Thank you kitchen aid!

This has been such a game changer for our family and has made it so much easier to chop up veggies for meals. I did not realize how diverse this tool was, and I am very excited to try to make several other things. This would make a great gift for a new parent as well, I love that I can purée apples for my kids and would have loved this when they were babies.

I got the matte black and I love the color. I usually like to put this away but this is so pretty I leave it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this by a friend because I'm the one who makes the pesto and the hummus and the one I had was old and “skipped” all over the counter. I LOVE this little thing. It's the perfect size, it's efficient and powerful and it crushes nuts without turning them into nut butter. And the “on” by just lightly pressing the cover is easy on my hands. And it never “skips.” Again, LOVE IT! But then I've always been incredibly happy with all my Kitchenaid products, and I have a few.

I wanted something smaller and more compact and I thought I would try this one although I was worried it would be too small. Was I ever wrong! It's perfect. It has chopped up anything I have put in it ( ie: cooked chicken, carrots, nuts, …) . It is quiet, compact and the size is perfect! I just love it and use it almost everyday day. I highly recommend this chopper!

It has a tidy little footprint when the cord is stored and plays well with other equipment in the cabinet too. The power and quietness both exceed my expectations. Feels like a solid well built until. Everything snaps and fits snuggly. With two speeds and a pulse, it does what a chopper needs to do very well. Dishwasher friendly and easy to clean. All around excellent.
