The food chopper is great for cutting up meat that I use to top my fussy dog's food each night. It helps to insure that he gas healthy fresh meat in his diet. BUT, shortly after buying it, the top fell off the counter a partially broke. I also wanted to buy extra cups so I could run it through the dishwasher. I don't use the dishwasher every night, so the extra cups would be very useful AND I would have one, or more, caps to replace the damaged one. Unfortunately I don't see any here! It seems to me that replacement cups and tops should be readily available and I'm disappointed that they aren't here. So, minus one star, though I'm tempted to lower that rating.

I was really pleased that the blades don't fall out when pouring the contents. I use this chopper twice a day and sometimes three times. Since I use it so much, I will be ordering another.

I bought this recently and have used it quite a bit. The size is perfect for everyday use and so easy to store. No more chopping endlessly for salads, casseroles, snacks, etc!! Chops perfectly in seconds. The puree feature is perfection for hummus, pesto and salad dressing. I wish I had bought it sooner.

It's small but mighty size doesn't take up much real estate in the kitchen but it performs tasks just as well as it's bigger brothers and sisters.

The first time I tried to make a blended salad dressing i it, I realized that the top does not close tight and while you spin your liquid that is only filing 1/3 of the container, the liquid spills everywhere, from the gap between the lid and the main container. I had to return it. Dissapointing.

I have had a KitchenAid mixer for over 20 years (the same one) and I love it! I ordered this food chopper because of the name KitchenAid and the great performance I had with my mixer. I am truly disappointed in this item! It doesn't chop nuts it purees them turns them to powder. I tried to chop celery for salad and it is more like a mince. I guess if you want it for the soul purpose of making salad dressing it would be fine even though the hole on top for adding liquid is tiny. The plastic work bowl is incredibly cheaply made. I would not recommend this food chopper. I will be returning it.
