This saves me time since I don't have to store it elsewhere and pull it out only when making meals. I also really like that it has a spot for the cord to wrap around it for storage. I got this food chopper for quick jobs like chopping onions or pureeing soups for my toddler. It's nice and small for smaller jobs or smaller household. It is easy to assemble and take apart to wash. The motor is nice and strong. Great small appliance from kitchenaid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is quick and precise. Plus the small footprint makes it a great size to leave on the counter in between uses. The blades are VERY sharp and the unit can be unassembled to make cleaning easier. The chopping settings are very simplistic - chop or purree. Compared to other choppers I've used, this is no where as loud. I'm definitely happy and impressed by this little unit.

This little chopper is so convenient I use it almost every day, instead of my big food processor. It works great for chopping, dicing, pureeing, etc. I don't know how I ever cooked without it.It took a little getting the hang of how to get the bowl attached, and how to get the lid on it, but now it is no effort at all to use. I keep it on the counter right next to the stove, since I use it so much.

This is the perfect size for a family of 5 to 8 preparing a meal. It's small compact and easy to store in your cupboard without taking up a ton of space.

It is very compact and has a powerful motor/sharp blades which puree in a few seconds. Thank you for a beautiful, powerful, and compact KitchenAid product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this food chopper and I had a few different brands over time. By far this is the best one. I like that's it's easy to use and easy to clean. I use this for making fresh salsa and hummus. It's a 10 out of 10 for me!

I just bought this and used it for the first time today. I've read reviews about people complaining that the lid is impossible to open and it's a pain to clean. The lid is actually very easy to open. I never had any issues with it. Also it's very easy to clean. Do I think it's worth the original price tag? Definitely not. If it wasn't on sale, I wouldn't have purchased it. It's great if you wanna chop or puree something quickly for a recipe. However, I noticed when I was done and removed the blade, some of my ingredients managed to get into the shaft where the blade sits. That's my only complaint. I also read complaints about having to push the lid in order for the machine to work instead of there being an actual button. It's not a big deal. Overall, it's a neat little machine that's compact and does what it needs to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really impressed with this mini chopper.  I love how easy it is to use! All you have to do is set it for CHOP or PUREE, and then lightly press down the lid. You can pulse it, or you can hold it down for more time.  I like pulsing it a little at a time.  I tried it out with something simple. I make these amazing 3 ingredient energy bars with super ripe bananas, oats, and chocolate chips.  I always blend the oats a bit to make the bars creamier. I did about 4-5 pulses, and it came out perfect.  In my other mini chopper, it always took longer, and the unit smelled like the motor was burning every time I used it.  This chopper worked perfectly.  The unit didn't strain at all. It really is a quality piece of machinery.  I also like the opening on top for pouring in liquids. That's a great idea.  I wish the words, CHOP and PUREE weren't the same color as the unit. They are very hard to see.  You do get used to CHOP to the left and PUREE to the right.  The only thing that is a little troublesome is the two piece lid.  It is very hard to separate the black plastic from the clear plastic for a deeper cleaning.  I'm afraid it will break.  I have yet to be successful in separating them.  Other than that, I really love this small kitchen appliance. Definitely 5 stars if it weren't for that two piece lid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food processor is great! I used to have a different brand of food chopper, but I like this KitchenAid version much better. There is a tiny hole in the lid which is perfect for making emulsions, like mayonnaise. The lid locks with a simple push-down motion. And I'm a huge fan of the built-in cord storage! It wraps around the base, tucked into a little nook.
