To be honest, I had been waiting for it to konk out on me so I could upgrade to the KitchenAid for years! So glad I finally got my food chopper! So powerful, and does such a great job blending up hummus, salsa, salad dressings, and aioli! I love the drip top for adding in oil. So glad I finally purchased it. My hope is it lasts as long as my old B&D did!

Not the quality I expected from KitchenAid. When chopping chocolate it over-chops the bottom pieces and leaves the top untouched. The lid is difficult to close, but I do like the safety features; you must squeeze the lid handle in order for it to work.

It doesn't take but seconds to chop almost anything....veggies, nuts, bread crumbs, cheese. Salad dressing is easy to make and it emulsifies really well. I plan to make some homemade mayo, but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I haven't had enough time yet to try out all of my ideas! I'm thinking....nut butters....maybe???

For that it works fantastic -- you get a nice, even process with no leftover chunks. The build is sturdy although not super high quality. It should last for many years. It's super easy to keep clean as everything comes apart.

I love the convenience of the push of the button on the handle. The black matte color makes it very sleek. I also like how the cord wraps into the chopper itself. And it's easy to store since it's on the smaller size. The only con is I didn't know how to open the lid at first, but it helps to read directions.

It has a multipurpose stainless steel blade, it has 2 speeds and a pulse mode. This is great for saving time on meal prep. It also has a drizzle basin that is great for making mayonnaise, dressings, sauces and other condiments. It is easy to clean and small so it stores easily and has cord storage. This is very nice to have for when I dont need my big food processor. I would recommend to my friends.
