To start, this is a nice looking kitchen appliance, with a size that should fit into most any cabinet. Its build quality is great with nicely rotating parts that create necessary locks. The operating button is cleverly worked into the handle, which makes it easy to do with one hand. The slide for types of chop and the liquid access hold at the top are also nicely integrated into the device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a 12 cup food processor last year for Christmas and never used it. The size was impractical for my family. So I went out and got the Kichenaid 3.5 cup one. It is the perfect size!!! I use it all the time to chop up vegetables, nuts, and even make dressing with it. The only thing I wouldn't put in there is raw meats. It is easy to clean and assemble.

Makes cooking so much easier and doesn't take up a lot of counter space which is perfect for our small apartment. Works so well, and you can manipulate how chopped you want your food. This little device is strong and versatile. I've made chunky salsa in it and have also made hummus. Definitely recommend.

I've owned several small choppers and this one outperforms them all. It is small enough to keep on the counter, yet large enough to chop a whole onion. So easy to clean up and dishwasher safe. The cord wraps neatly around the base for storage.

It has a tidy little footprint when the cord is stored and plays well with other equipment in the cabinet too. The power and quietness both exceed my expectations. Feels like a solid well built until. Everything snaps and fits snuggly. With two speeds and a pulse, it does what a chopper needs to do very well. Dishwasher friendly and easy to clean. All around excellent.

I had to view 2-3 self help videos to figure out how to actually make it work (KitchenAid- Engineers- How about a simple on-off button?). Instructions in box are of little help. But once I got the hang of turning it on (not intuitive!- my wife still cannot work it) it does a really great job. It is perfectly sized for most of the things we process/chop and takes up minimal counter pace- powerful enough to process/chop any food quickly. Recommend this product. If I could rate it 4.5 stars I would- but 4 stars because it is not so easy to start.
