It just seems to have a learning curve with getting the cup locked into the unit correctly. Also it is a little bit of a pain to get the chopped goods out without having the blade come out, its also a little hard to clean the blade. It really does a nice job chopping food though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this chopper for myself because I was tired of cutting so many things by hand after a different brand chopper had broken. This one is a much better quality and I love it! My first use of it was to chop nuts. I chopped a couple of quart jars filled with nuts within just minutes! My husband likes it so much I think he uses it more than me now! We use it often and for so many things - onions, meats, and more! If I could suggest anything to Kitchenaid, it would be to make it more "lefty-friendly", so the basin and lid/button could go on both sides of the lever. But unfortunately, that is common in many appliances. Anyway, I love this chopper and definitely recommend!

It's small and doesn't have a lot of parts so it's easy to store. The way to turn it on is by pushing down on the handle which I thought was very smart. It's easy to clean too. Highly recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used my mini chopper for the first time and I was amazed at how evenly it chopped my onion, usually choppers don't cut the food evenly. I have used other brand choppers before and they did not do a good job at evenly chopping my food not did it have the power this one has. I am pleasantly surprised and was happy that it is is as good of quality as my kitchen aid stand mixer. I look forward to getting other kitchen aid appliances for my home.

I've been very pleased, especially with how smooth it gets the baby food—especially for such a product that takes up so little space. It's nice not to pull out the large heavy food processor when you only need it for a small job or if you want to put in a smaller amount of food. Highly recommend!
