Doesn't spiralize but demolishes!

The first time I used it, it spiralized perfect. I tried it several times after that for it to demolish the skewered end and not spiralize at all! I've watched several videos and troubleshooting. It doesn't matter, it's still chews up the skewered end. I am sorry I wasted my money on this purchase, and sadly I purchased additional blades before I realized it was a waste of money!

Peeling potatoes quick and easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spiralizer/peel/core/slice is easy to attach. Spiralizing is a breeze. Also, after a couple of potatoes I got the peeler set better & peeling a bunch of potatoes was not such a chore. It's easy to clean.

Simple and easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the spiralizer after using a "hand-crank" spiralizer to make our "zuchetti" and other veggie dishers for several years. The hand operated device worked well, but required some effort and quite a bit of clean up. The KitchenAid spiralizer is a dream to use in comparison. Easy to set up and use and even easier to take apart and clean. This will allow us to do a lot more with veggies and apples/pears in our cooking.

Awesome attachment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this attachment to peel apples. We had about 160 apples from our tree and needed to peel them before freezing them. This saved us hours of work. Very happy that we purchased this over others.

A MUST-HAVE KITCHENAID ACCESSORY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this accessory after several attempts at less expensive handheld and crank vegetable spiralizers- this is BY FAR the best quality and easiest to use! I have used it already dozens of times since purchasing it at the beginning of 2018 when starting a paleo diet/lifestyle. I personally enjoy making curly fries with sweet potatoes and spaghetti from multicolored carrots. The options are numerous with this tool! The multiple different blades offer different options and I have enjoyed searching the web for new and interesting recipes I can use this attachment for! All in all, love it and HIGHY RECOMMEND!

Saves me time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a new Kitchen Aid mixer a few weeks ago and have used it many times since then. I am very pleased with the mixer. I purchased the 5 Blade spiralizer with the peel, core and slice and am amazed how much time I have saved peeling, coring, and slicing apples as well as peeling potatoes. It's easy to attach to the mixer and easy to clean after using it.

Works great, fun to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the peeler attachment. It came with very thorough instructions with pictures. My sister and I first tried apples, it was fun. Then we used it for potatoes. There are multiple blades so you can make curly fries, or thinner strips for say zucchini. The blades are all very sharp so be careful when washing and handling them. I think we will have fun with this attachment for years to come.

works (worked) great but didnt last.

I bought this 14 months ago for the last apple season. sliced about 100 apples for drying. It worked wonderfully. Best kitchen aid device I ever bought... until today. The blades are too dull to work properly. The shaft is slightly bent so the blade doesn't move down the apple to properly slice it. Worst of all the spiralizer has a tendency to work loose from the mixer and move around. This has walled out the cut out on my kitchen aid pro mixer, It seems that every part of this device that has been used to slice 100 or so apples is worn to the point of not working anymore. It did have a very nice box though. Once again it worked wonderfully last year but has not held up. This is the only attachment ( out of many many many) that has failed on me

Should have bought it sooner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We enjoy making apple sauce and apple pie which requires...a lot of apples that need to be cored, peeled and sliced. Yes, I have proven that you can do this without the aid of a spiralizer but if time is an issue, then this is the way to go. I have only used a couple of the attachments thus far for apples and sweet potato curly fries, and both came out wonderful (not to mention fun to watch). There are many more possibilities for sure that I look forward to. The construction seems like it will last for many years to come and it is very easy to use (provided you follow the recommended instructions). I did find that for sweet potatoes, you have to think about the size and shape of the potato when shopping for best results since there are some limitations to length and girth but that is no big deal.

Doesn't work!

Received as a gift. It worked the first time with zucchini and yellow squash. It did make marvelous veggie noodles. After that it will not cut into the veggies. The part that the vegetables fasten onto just spins and bores into the vegetables and that's all it does. Have tried different approaches and still the same results. Believe the first time was a lucky fluke!
