This item does everything is says it does so easily and quickly. I love using it and 'watching" it do its magic. I saves time and effort to make new and different recipes I would never even attempt because of the process and time that would have been required.

I tried 3 other spiralizer's before this one and returned all 3 within weeks of purchase.They were either dangerous to use because of their blades and too much work to get the product I was looking for!Then I seen this attachment in the kitchen store for my mixer so decided to try one more time.I am so glad i did!! I love it and its so easy to use.

I have only had this "toy" for about two weeks. I have used this on more than a dozen occasions. The attachment is very easy to install, very easy to use, provides multiple options for use, and is fairly easy to clean. Long story short, this tool saves far more time than I originally expected.

I make apple pies for the holidays and my husband was tired of me asking him to peel the apples. So he got me the 5 Blade Spiralizer with Peel, Core and Slicer and now he can continue to watch his games on tv. I love it! I can peel pounds of apples in just minutes.

After having zucchini spaghetti at a local restaurant, I wanted to make it at home. I've made it twice using the small spiral attachment and it's amazing - super easy to attach/detach and clean up. I can't wait to use the peeler - I want to try it with cucumbers and carrots...

I was super excited about this purchase and waited a long time to get it. However, when I use with zucchini and squash, the rotation hollows out the base and the vegetable becomes unable to be spiralized. I tried different speeds to see if that would make a difference but no such luck. Because of the cost, I was let down with this Kitchen Aid product.

I used the fine on sweet potato and it worked great. Also tried it on a butternut squash had a little problem with the squash it wouldn't work on it the insert just went into the middle without peeling and spirilling it but I am going to try it again it might have just been the squash itself. Overall love it!!

I wish I had thought to check with KitchenAid to see if a spiralizer attachment existed for the stand mixer before I wasted my money on an inferior product. This attachment is by far awesome and performs many tasks effortlessly and perfectly. Assembly and changing the blades are easy. This cuts prepping food in lightening speed time. Clean up is easy and really appreciate the compartmentalized storage box. In short, I can't say enough good things about this KitchenAid attachment!

I love my kitchenaid mixer and was so excited to get the spiralizer attachment so I could make healthy meals. The first two times I spiralized zucchini, and it worked great. I loved it! I was so excited to make sweet potato curly fries next. Unfortunately, I bought and peeled all the potatoes, (note I peeled them by hand - I haven't tried the peeling feature) only to have the machine stop working on the second piece of potato. The potato stopped turning because the steel spear would detach from the plastic part that it was attached to. I tried reattaching it several times, but this only resulted in the plastic piece stripping and now the whole part is useless. I contacted kitchenaid, and they are supposed to be sending me a new part, but based on the other reviews, I don't think this will help. As other reviewers noted, it seems silly that this part is made of plastic. My conclusion from my experience and some of the other reviews is that more engineering design needs to go into this product. I love the idea, and KitchenAid has a good reputation, so hopefully they will fix this and make it right for the customers who purchased this expensive product only to find it doesn't work except in certain circumstances.

I bought this several months ago. I use to have a manual spiralizer and every time I used it I had veggie parts that I could not use. This attachment spiralizes the entire veggie easily and fast, it doesn't matter if you spiralize a zucchini or a sweet potato.
