I bought this spiral attachment about a month ago and have used it a couple times so far, and it worked wonderfully peeling some apples for a pie and I made spiral potatoes for potatoes au gratin and made quick work on the potatoes to get the casserole ready fast. I look forward to using it again and again. So glad Kitchenaid went with metal parts.

I treated myself to the Kitchenaid Spiralizer after I lost 15 pounds. I leave the attachment on my mixer so that it is convenient to use on the spur of the moment. My favorite thing to do is to Spiralize zucchini. I use it in place of pasta. It is so much fun and really encourages us to eat healthy. I also use it to spiralize cucumber for salads, and apples for homemade applesauce.

I wish you had put a booklet in the box telling how to use it with each vegetable. I went on line and it helps some, but I still can;t make it work with a sweet potato. It would be a lot easier to have a book to look at for how many vegetables and how to use it with them.

I received this spiralizer as a Christmas gift I made the most beautiful apple pie using the slicer and corer. It took 1/4th of the time that it used to when doing it with just a knife and apple corer. Great tool and easy to use. The storage case is so well made this will last for years!

The Spirilizer is easy to use and to clean up. Comes with a nice box to store in. I found a great apple cobbler recipe and so am making that a lot. I have also used it on potatoes, yams and zucchini. I save the apple peelings, freeze them and then use them the next time I make a fruit/veggie smoothie. Love it!

I bought the KitchenAid Spiralizer during what I thought was the worst time of year for fresh produce, the end of winter/beginning of spring. However, in only the few weeks I've had this, we've tried so many vegetables and have had amazing results. Sweet potatoes, butternut squash, cucumbers and zucchini. It makes me wonder what can't I spiralize?! Anyway, get one of these. It's a conversation piece and your kids will finally eat their vegetables! 5 stars all around!

I've made zucchini noodles that work great in place of pasta. I've peeled and sliced apples for low calorie snacks. Carrots make great curly snacks even kids like. It's easy and simple to use. I've only just begun to see how I can use it on all my vegetables and fruits. It's a new way to think about eating and fixing vegetable and fruits.

Most of the (cheaper) spiralizers waste quite a bit of the fruit/vegetable and can be hard on your hands. This uses most of the fruit/ vegetable & is fast. The fact that you can make noodles as well as thin strips is great and peeling feature is a bonus.It is also beautifully packaged to protect the blades.Kitchen Love it!!

I bought this hoping that it would make vegetables more inviting to my family. Unfortunately, I find it creates a lot of waste. Wanted to make sweet potatoes but they almost never grow straight so they are very difficult/almost impossible to use. In fact I had read the instructions prior to shopping and had purchased what I felt was the right size. It didn't work on them at all. Did work on an apple but overall I'd say it is way overrated. Would not recommend.

I purchased this a week ago. I used it to make zoodles (noodles out of zucchini) to go with my pasta sauce. My entire family and their families tried them and loved them. We have them twice in one week. Also peeled, cored and sliced apples with this. Did a great job in no time at all. Can't wait to experiment more with it.
