Great Tool - having issues w/ butternut squash

I received the spiralizer as a gift and have used it a handful of times already within the last two weeks. However I was very excited to make butternut squash noodles and I had the same issues as someone previously commented on, the squash kept rotating on the other end and produced no noodles. I think it would be great for Kitchenaid to come out with a larger connection piece to hold the produce in place. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get the spiralizer to work with butternut squash?

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had surgery on my hand, and using a manual spiralizer was painful. I love my new attachments. I also bought the meat grinder and slicer, which I wish I had bought years ago. Plan to get the noodle maker next.

Fast and Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am mechanically challenged, yet I mastered the set up of the spiralizer in 5 minutes. I have used two of the spiralizer attachments and accidentally used the slicer attachment. All worked well on zucchini and an English cucumber. I wish I could find more vegetables/fruits to use the spiralizer. They need to be cut to a maximum of 5-3/4". I need to be more creative as it's fun to use. Easy cleanup.

Sooo simple to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't be any better! Does a wonderful job with little waste. A breeze to use & the video that I found online shows how to use it. It was very descriptive & detailed. I use mine all the time! The storage box is also a bonus as every part fits in it snug & keeps your fingers safe from injury. LOVE IT!!!

Every kitchen needs this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool peels and slices 4 apples in less than 5 minutes, for dehydrating. It will Spiralize potatoes for curly fries. Make zucchini into pasta for me and so much more. I haven't unlocked all of its magic yet, but I am very impressed with what this can do. Every kitchen must have this, it is well built and easy to use.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and was a little nervous looking at the attachments in the box. It was so simple to attach and spiralize. I am in love with it! I eat Keto so this is so helpful. I sent a video to my daughter's who were thinking about purchasing this attachment and they are on board.

Does it's job pretty well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and I were excited to try this out. We eat a lot of zucchini noodles and spiralized apples. Over all it did a great job but definitely had issues with potatoes. I tried all attachment sizes and they came out more straight than curly. Not a big deal but not what I was expecting. Also, if the potatoes are too lump it will have some issues. Overall I really love it. It's easy to clean and easy to use.

Part Broke on first use

The spike broke off the part that holds the vegetables on the first use with a carrot. Very disappointed in this product and I see many others have had the same problem. This part should be all metal, not metal inserted into plastic. My manual spiralizer does a much better job.

It's so easy, fast and spiralizes perfectly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my kitchen aid spiralizer for Christmas. I reviewed the video of how to use it on the Kitchen Aid website. It was so easy to use. I can spread spiralizer slices around a roast and really make it look beautiful!

Great Results!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the spiralizer as a wedding present because I already had the kitchen aid countertop mixer. It was easy to set up and relatively easy to clean with some pieces being dishwasher safe. Loved the results when using vegetables like zucchini to make noodles! Only critique is I wasn't able to spiral the whole zucchini, there's a little bit of each one left at the end because the blade doesn't reach, so I just chopped those up to add to dinner. Would totally recommend if you like to cook creatively or to change up your meals!
