Happy with ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it to work apples up for freezing and fresh pie. Much faster than by hand or the crank peeler. Love the spiralizer for summer squash and that my fingers don't get near the blades like in a hand spiralizer. Overall, liked it but there felt like there was some play in slider while doing firmer apples.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and was a little nervous looking at the attachments in the box. It was so simple to attach and spiralize. I am in love with it! I eat Keto so this is so helpful. I sent a video to my daughter's who were thinking about purchasing this attachment and they are on board.

Many vegetables don't work

Works great on zucchini. When I try to spiralize butternut squash or other harder vegetables, it gets stuck and then the attachment prongs spin inside the squash, releasing the vegetable. I don't even try to use the peeler. I had a padermo spiralizer which had a wider attachment prong. I wish I hadn't replaced it.

So much better than my old spiralizer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift for Christmas and we cored and spiralized about a dozen apples for pie in just a few minutes - so easy! My old spiralizer was plastic, doomed for extinction from its first use. This is nice, sturdy Kitchenaid quality, made to last for a lifetime of peelings, corings and spiralizing-love it! I can't wait to try it on so many other things!

Makes baking so easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this around Christmastime and ever since, I can't wait for excuses to make cakes and other goodies - any reason to pull this thing out, I'll take it! It's really easy to use and to operate, and cleanup is really easy. It's made me want to cook more at home than I ever used to.

Very Expensive attachment!

I bought the attachment during summer and used it to spiralize zucchini. It worked ok on certain sizes. I mostly was looking for the apple peeler to core and peel apples quickly for fall deserts. It did peel the apple but it produced a lot of waste while doing so. You have to buy double the amount of apples for the recipe because you have to slice off a portion to have the apple flush. It took about 1/8 inch of apple with the skin when it peeled the apple. I ended up hand peeling and coring the apples because I wouldn't have enough for the recipe. Very disappointed!

No, I Don't!

What a disappointment! Tried firm, good and well shaped apples, a yam, onion, zucchini ...only the latter sort of worked. The peeling is inconsistent . It is too much work and a bit scary to shove the fruit into the spike and when I didn't get it done right I needed a screw driver to get the spike out of the Apple and recenter it. I can peel an apple by hand in 1/4 of the time. The yam was a hot mess of peels and chunks. Onion spiraled almost and zucchini worked well, but I don't want to get only 4" at a time. What a bummer!

great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because I bake ALOT of pies for the holiday and especially apple pies so I bought it to peel as well and slice. I've used the peeler but I still haven't used the slicer but the peeler works very well and I'm sure everything else that it came with will work just as well when I come around to using them

Does not peel well

The attachment is great for spiralizing, but for the price should work much better for peeling apples and potatoes. Most of the skin is left on when using only the peeling attachment. It needs another piece to stabilize the apple or potato on the other side. My hand spiralizer works much better for peeling only. The vegetable/fruit skewer is made of cheap plastic and I do not see it holding up for a long period of time. I am very disappointed in this attachment.

So happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the spirializer/peeler attachment kit for my Christmas gift, and I love it! No more peeling potatoes and apples by hand for me. It did take a bit of figuring out how to use it, but after a few google searches, my husband got it. I am very happy with this attachment.
