Spiralizer device engineering defect

Our original purchase was based on overall functionality. Unfortunately, the detent to hold attachments in-place will fail for everyone. It's not made of Spring quality Stainless. We returned the unit after a couple of uses to SurLaTable. The Manager of the store also recognized the issue immediately. The product will do the work as intended, once the defect is corrected.

Poor instructions provided by Kitchen Aid on usage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 5 blade spiralizer is great once I figured out how to install the blade and use it. The instructions with the product and the instructions on line on the Kitchen Aid website were non existent!!!! No pictures, no videos, no written instructions. Only instructions were for the peeler!!! I am so disappointed in Kitchen Aid!!! I did find a video on U-Tube and it is not hard, I just needed a picture or instructions.

It's so easy, fast and spiralizes perfectly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my kitchen aid spiralizer for Christmas. I reviewed the video of how to use it on the Kitchen Aid website. It was so easy to use. I can spread spiralizer slices around a roast and really make it look beautiful!

Love it but want Thicker slices

I have had this for over a year and love it. I use it for peeling and slicing apples. The slices come out quite thin even using the thickest blade. When slicing apples for pie, I would like the slices to be thicker. I wish you would make a blade that does thicker slices.

worth it!!

Absolutely love this! Literally so easy to use and I am now able to feed my family a healthy and fast meal during the week. Our first meal with this we made zucchini and squash "pasta" with grilled chicken and a jar of marinara sauce. Crowd-pleaser!

Spiralizer is not great, but could be.

I bought the spiralizer because I thought I'd finally be able to make the beautiful fine strands of beet, carrot, and radish that restaurants have taken to using. I love the sushi restaurants that have daikon radish done this way. The spiralizer works well, but it needs to have a further series of blades that allow for finer strands to be produced. I'd be happy to purchase these additional blades, and then would love this attachment. The blades just produce too thick strands!

Part Broke on first use

The spike broke off the part that holds the vegetables on the first use with a carrot. Very disappointed in this product and I see many others have had the same problem. This part should be all metal, not metal inserted into plastic. My manual spiralizer does a much better job.

Great Results!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the spiralizer as a wedding present because I already had the kitchen aid countertop mixer. It was easy to set up and relatively easy to clean with some pieces being dishwasher safe. Loved the results when using vegetables like zucchini to make noodles! Only critique is I wasn't able to spiral the whole zucchini, there's a little bit of each one left at the end because the blade doesn't reach, so I just chopped those up to add to dinner. Would totally recommend if you like to cook creatively or to change up your meals!

Great but only for Short veggies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This attachment is convenient and works well. However most veggies (cucumber, sweet potato, squash) is longer than the arm. Have to cut the food short to make it fit. Also the part to hold veggies in place is plastic. I always feel like I might break it or chip then the arm would be useless.
