FULL FLAVOR Tuna in OIL!

I've bought Bumble Bee Tuna over the years, and my recent order for it was just as expected, and actually arrived sooner than I thought! I bought 60 cans to stock up, so delivery sure helped as the weight adds up. I will agree with other reviewers that it is NOT CHUNKY, but I already knew that, and expected the finely flaked tuna I received. It is exactly what I wanted, and like, as if it was chunky, I would then have to waste my time smashing it a bit to get it in the right shape for my tuna sandwiches. I put a can in the freezer for about 30 minutes before using, so it is nice and chilled as I like my sandwiches COOL! I mix in mayo and celery, and a little salt, and I'm done. I don't drain the oil, it has a lot of the tuna nutrients bound to it, and the taste is GOOD for me, and the oil is not bad for my health, so I am GLAD to have it. I too am finding it harder to find TUNA IN OIL, as everyone is swinging on the packed in water craze, and that has no flavor! Old fashioned Bumble Bee Tuna IN OIL is what I like, and am very happy with my order!

Yum

it was nice to find the Tuna in oil on Sam's website. Mixed with some dill relish, little mayo and mustard, spread it on some sourdough bread and enjoyed. free delivery for plus members

Many Choices

I use tuna a lot. You can make so many different meals with just a can of tuna. Bumblebee tuna tast as good as the other brands with a lower price. Nowadays you got to watch every penny.

Good price for a good product

I ordered this tuna with oil for my cat for hair ball control and for dry skin and dandruff. She’s fussy with her foods, but she likes the taste and I can limit her portions. Win all the way around!

It’s not bad at all.

It’s not bad. We prefer the taste of the one in water. We use it in salads sometimes, so there is nothing on it. It’s in these instances that I notice this has more of a stronger fishy taste than the one in water. However, most people may not notice the difference, particularly if you mix it with dressing or mayonnaise.

Not "Chunk" Tuna

This should not be called "chunk" tuna, it is, at best, flaked. It's more of a can of tuna that has been run through a food processor. It has a very mild flavor and it takes more tuna than I expected to make the tuna salad taste like tuna. Bumble Bee Tuna will not be my first choice for future purchases. If the pandemic continues and a shortage of tuna happens, I'd buy this if it was the only tuna available.

Dissatisfied!

Unfortunately, it’s not chunky at all. It’s close to a pate or even the texture of cat food. Not at all what I was expecting and I can’t seem to give it away to anyone because they don’t like it either. I have one of the 10 packs left. I am going to feed it to the feral cats in our community. I was hoping it was like Bumblebee Albacore but it was not even close.

Mushy texture

We eat canned tuna, but use it to feed our 2 cats, too. Usually, we use tuna in water. One cat has trouble with hairballs, so we decided to try tuna in oil. We tried this brand because it cost less. No one will eat this - not even the cats. The texture is off-putting; very mushy. Every can we tried. Also, to us, and apparently to the cats, it does taste different from Starkist brand, if you happen to like/prefer that.
