I recently had rotator cuff surgery and could not use my dominant hand For nearly a month. This Specific can opener was heavy enough where it didn’t move, (very stable) and I was able to handle it and open cans with one hand, which was awesome‼️ it’s the little things that you’re concerned about when you can’t do them.

So far, It's been a perfectly good can opener. My beef is with the Cuisinart coffee grinder I purchased summer 2020. It broke down after little more than a year. While I am a little leery of Cuisinart quality at this point, the other available product looked inferior.

I bought this can opener based on the brand name but do not like it. It leaves very ragged, sharp edges on the can lid which seem dangerous to dispose of. it is very hard to start opening the can as it continues to fall out of the area that should hold it up. The entire cutting assembly falls off several times each time I try to open a can. I hoped to get used to it but cannot.

I had a previous model of the Cuisinart electric can opener. It still works, but I like the new design better and went ahead and splurged. The new one has a larger base which makes it more stable . This one holds the can after opening just like my older one. You can’t go wrong with a Cuisinart product.

It’s attractive, as Cuisinart items tend to be. But like my last two purchases of Cuisinart, I’ve been hugely disappointed, This is counter art that does nothing. I have hand injuries, and it definitely can’t be used one-handed as some say. It’s also very heavy. It drops the cans. It only opens standard round cans. It cannot open cat food tins, tuna cans, or anything like sardine cans (others do all these well). And the cans it can open, it has not once done without multiple attempts and false starts. I’m disappointed I’m not permitted to return it. This was my last-ever Cuisinart purchase.

This can opener is the best I've ever owned. This is my second Cuisinart can opener. The first one I had lasted awhile. Then when it broke I did try a fwe cheaper brands but had to go back to the Cuisinant because of the quality of it. I will buy another one in the future when needed no questions asked. I love the cuisinant brand on a lot of small kitchen items.

I bought this can opener because I had owned 2 prior to this. I love Cuisinsart products. But this particular one opens cans efficiently but does not leave them on the magnet and they drop the can and spill the contents. I must be careful when using this can opener but will continue to do so because of the ease and speed with which it opens cans

Can opener can open any size can I have come across so far. Looks great and the stainless steel look matches my other stainless steel appliances very well. Works like a charm and holds every can after it opens it with no mess to clean up from spills.

This opener is the bomb! It has a slim line and looks terrific on my counter. It grabs hold of the can and hangs on. I don’t have to be concerned about the can dropping from the blade mechanism. The the lever/blade unit is removable and very easy to clean. It’s a great purchase.

It doesn't work correctly. 2 stars is for the look and feel only. My sister had this and I thought it was beautiful. Even though my other opener was fairly new, I had to have this one. However, it doesn't operate the way it was meant to. In other words, we have to continue to push the lever back with our thumb or it won't work. When you release the pressure, it stops. For the high price, it should have been more reliable. Either I have a bad one (misaligned) or it is a design flaw. I never sent it back and now the warranty is expired. Wish now I had at least tried get it repaired or replaced.
