Worst piece of junk ever. Not even close to Cuisinart standards. I bought this a month ago and I have returned it twice for malfunctioning. The blade mechanism falls off constantly, sometimes mid way through opening a can which makes for a huge mess. I read bad reviews and didn’t listen. Don’t put yourself through the same aggravation. Avoid at all costs!!!

I can not recommend this can opener to anyone. After a relatively mild use the can opener stopped working. The motor worked fine but the cutting mechanism would no longer opens cans. From what I understand the cheapest version of this can opener works better than this high end version

This stainless steel can opener is great! All you have to do is line up your can with the bottom guiding post, and it attaches immediately. Other can openers have always had some sort of issue latching onto the can. This is the first one that I've used that functions extremely well with no hassle!

Finally, over the years tried many, manual and electric, cutting blades kept getting shorter. Bad Can manufactures and shorter blades made for several runs to get missed cut areas. Then the other annoyance, the Magnet, spring loaded, when you finally got the lid cut, the Magnet spring was so strong and poor design it popped and Juice, sauce all over the place. The Stainless looks and works great!

Great machine if you get a good one. The 1st one I purchased rolled the cans, the on switch got stuck on & the pin under the on switch fell out. I got a replacement for it & it runs like a dream. I can open 15 cans to make chili from scratch & the can opener doesn’t have issues.

This can opener is excellent and well worth the price! I especially like the way it cuts the can top, kind of scalloping it so it is much safer to hold than "ordinary" can openers. And it is so easy to insert the can and get it started. A very nice find!

Solid commercial grade can opener. Pricey but worth the price for a long term investment. No cheap plastic used in the external housing of this appliance. Strong motor. Great lid magnet with auto-stop when finished rotating. Internal cord storage. Easy removable handle-blade for cleaning. It doesn't have all of the "extras" that some other can openers may have, but for doing what it was made for, this can opener is a heavyweight champion.

It is an excellent can opener. I have arthritis in both hands so this can opener is so easy to use. The fact that it had a weighted base and will not tip over and handles large heavy cans is such a plus. Cuisinart is such a trusted brand. I have used your food processor for over 35 years and it is still going strong. I believe in buying quality products and this one is great!!!!!

First automatic can opener the family has ever had. Came as a package paired with the toaster we wanted. I was immediately impressed by the heft and quality of construction. Very solid and nice features such as a powerful magnet to hold the can in place, an easy to remove and clean handle, and magnet to capture the lid. Works extremly well for any regular sized can. Very happy with this part of the purchase.

I love it.. It opens cans without hesitation or issues.
