DO NOY BUY!!

Do not buy! at the beginning this company had good intentions and put a combination of monk fruit and stevia only. It tasted great and Starbucks had this product in their stores. However, the company got greedy and now the majority of what's in there is erythritol. You've heard of that. The new study that came out that tested thousands of people in the US and in another country and found that it gives you blood clots and causes heart attacks and strokes? Starbucks pulled the product and I refuse to buy this product anymore. It's a disgrace what they've done. also the packets are half empty

Very close to table sugar.

The combination of monk fruit and stevia makes this taste closer to regular sugar than most other brands of alternative sweeteners. I didn't notice any funky aftertaste. Both types of sugar in this packet have a very low Glycemic Index, no carbs, no sugar. So it's perfect for diabetics. I'm pre-diabetic. Monk fruit is said to have antioxidant properties as well as helps stabilize blood sugar. Stevia can cause some GI discomfort. However, I'm not sure what percentage of this is monk fruit vs. stevia. I haven't noticed any GI discomfort. I tried the other sugar alternative by Whole Earth combining raw sugar and stevia, and didn't think it was sweet enough. I had to use two packets of the raw sugar; opposed to 1 packet of the monk fruit. So, this is a better buy because you need less. This 400 packet box is an even better deal than the 80 packet box (at $.05 per packet).
