I get grass fed beef is a lot more leaner and tender, but it's almost melts in your mouth, which is odd for jerky. You have to give me something to chew on initially and I'd enjoy it a bit better.

Yes I will be buying it again. Loved the texture,very flavorful especially the hickory smoked ! Liked that it was glutein free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Selected the country Archer original beef jerky. The flavor was good but the jerky itself was really tough (tougher then normal for jerky) . I purchase jerky regularly. I know that it was quit possible that I selected a bag that was tougher then others... Since I enjoyed the flavor I will chance purchasing this brand again to see if my theory is correct.

My husband absolutely loved it and said he could definitely tell it was a higher quality jerky. I liked how it tasted, as well, but was dissuaded to eat a lot because of the sugar content. I do not eat sugar so this isn't a product I'd buy regularly for myself but I would buy occasionally, as a treat, for my husband.

Fresh and delicious, and easy to chew. It had a great flavor. I could definitely see us buying this often, for snacks and to stick in our trip bag. I'd feel good about buying this for my family.

I tried the original, and the product was tasty except it was softer and "mushier" than the usual jerky I eat. Once I got past the softness of the product, it was tasty with an underlying taste of pineapple. In fact, I had to look back at the label to make sure I bought the original, not the teriyaki. If you are looking for a tasty snack, this product will fill the bill. If you are looking for a jerky to chew on, it will not. I would however buy this product again as it did taste good.

Also, I wish there were more flavors than the ones I saw in the store. In addition, I found out this contained alcohol and I cannot have alcohol, therefore had to give the rest away to a family member. I will not recommend this based on my feedback.
