But it tasted great! It was soft, chewy. I think my 3 year old loved it more than me. He finished the bag in 1 night. I will definitely buy again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to sample a bag of the Original Flavor beef jerky from #trynatural. It has a great meaty flavor and chewy texture. I ate it on a hike during a fairly cold day and it was a real treat to take a break and recharge, eating my Country Archer jerky. I think some of the reasons why it's so energizing is that it's 100% Grass-Fed and made with real ingredients with no nitrites, nitrates, preservatives, MSG, antibiotics or added hormones, So much healthier than most of the other jerkys out there and tastes great too. #trynatural

I much prefer a softer, easier to bite jerky. My son thought that it was too dry. We both thought that the flavor was OK - nothing special. I asked him if he'd buy it and he said if it was a good price he would, but he wouldn't if it were the same price as others.

It gives the jerky a nice texture it's not too grainy like some jerky's can be. It had all natural ingredients that you could read and understand what was in it. I also like grass fed beef jerky because it's leaner and doesn't have a lot of fat but still has a good amount of protein that you need to help sustain your day.
