I love jerky but hate it when it feels like you are going to eaither break or dislocate your jaw with it; this doesn't cause that feeling! Great flavor while being easy to chew is a win in my book.

If you want to really taste what jerky is supposed to taste like...then try Country Archer. The Beef flavor is awesome. Its nice to see a product that is great for a pick me up or on a camping trip made with real ingredients and tastes so good too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to locate in stores and we opted to try out the original flavor first. Texture is great. Not sandy like some jerky on the market when it is over tenderized. Pieces were small and a little all over the place in size with some almost chopped in size to resemble taco meat. The flavor was not overly salty or sweet, so Country Archer Jerky definitely has the right balance. You get a strong beef flavor and that may be because the meat comes from grass fed cows, so there I did notice the most significant difference because most other jerky products are not. Great for a snack on the run or to add to a trail mix. There the smaller pieces would be more welcoming. Wish the product came in bigger bags or a family size so it can be used multiple times to make snack mixes.

I've never had turkey jerky before so I was kind of scared to try that. I ended up trying the original grass-fed beef jerky and it was so tender and delicious that I am definitely going to purchase again.

It's not easy finding good beef jerky with that old fashioned texture of real beef jerky with a taste without all the sugar that commercial beef jerky. Not only did I enjoy the beef jerky but the kids were eating just as fast.
