[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try out Country Archer Original Beef Jerky recently & I really wasn't that impressed to be honest. It's flavor & texture is like so many other popular name brand jerky out there currently on the market. It's no different in taste & texture to Jacks Links beef jerky. Honestly, there's so many prepackaged bags of jerky out there that all taste like this one that I really have grown tired of. I honestly really prefer & enjoy the jerky that you'll find sometimes or most times at little gas stations going out in rural areas & heading out in the country & in little towns & cities general stores & convenience shops/truck stops, like Bucky's for example. I know that, that kind of jerky is a whole lot more tougher & you kinda have to wrestle with it because it's usually really dry & super dehydrated but that's what makes jerky, jerky..... at least the old fashioned way of making jerky or just plain old traditional & enjoyable jerky. Good/REAL jerky has a snap to it when you're trying to bite off a piece. This type (Country Archer) & other similar popular name brand jerkies are all SUPER MOIST. I guess this is to maintain freshness or whatever but it does not beat the flavor of traditional jerky or homemade jerky, dryed out or dehydrated the usual, traditional way. I'm honestly done with these types of jerkies. I don't really enjoy the taste or texture of them. I'll pass on buying this brand & others like this. I would not recommend if you enjoy good old fashioned & traditional dried/dehydrated or smoked jerky. If you like your jerky soft, moist & limp then this is for you if that's your preference but Country Archer is a hard no for me. I wouldn't try again or buy. On the plus side I did appreciate that it's Free from MSG, nitrates, nitrites and preservatives. It is also certified gluten free (if you're into that food fad/propaganda) & has 11g of protein per serving which isn't bad (the 11g's of protein NOT the gluten free garbage). Well that's my take on it. It wasn't terrible but it also wasn't stellar or superior to any other name brand jerkies out there. It was just ok at best but not enough to try it again much less to spend some cash on purchasing.

It was just a little salty but addicting. I had to go back and buy more in another flavor. I would so recommend this jerky. I didn't think it was pricey at all. #trynatural #gotitfree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omg it was tender not tough like others. I shared the bag with my coworkers they also enjoyed the taste. It's a taste that is natural My concern is the high sodium and very little in the bag. Other than that it's delicious.

It had a harder texture then other jerky which was my favorite about this product. The flavor had a sweet taste to it that lasted all through1 enjoyment. For the price and amount you get in a bag for 100% grass fed beef, this product is by far worth the price and much more! The best part about snacking is their is only 80 calories per serving but believe me it is hard to resist only one serving! Love the fact their is a variety of jerky sizes from huge to small and that makes it perfect for on the go snacking without a guilty feeling...

I tried the original flavor but now I want to try the hickory smoke turkey jerky flavor. I really like how big of a bag you get for the price and the fact that it's made with 100% grass fed beef is great.

I tried the beef jerky original flavor and the flavors are on point! I really love that the texture is nice and firm but also, tender & chewy. It's not dry and hard like many brands I've tried. You have the option to try Beef Jerky (made with 100% Grass-Fed and Finished Beef ) or Turkey Jerky (100% All-Natural Turkey Breast). Gluten-Free certified and KETO certified (Original Beef & Hickory Smoke Turkey) with 9-11g protein, 70 calories, 0.5g fat, & 3-5g sugar per serving. Made with real ingredients, none of the junk. Other flavors they have are: Beef: Mango Habanero, Teriyaki, Hatch Chile, Crush Red Pepper, Jalapeño Turkey: History Smoke and Sweet Chipotle Zero Sugar Jerkys: Classic, Mustard BBQ, Spicy Sesame Garlic. This brand is a little on the pricey side, but they use real ingredients, so it's understandable. My family and I loved it, so I will make future purchases from this brand.

I don't usually eat jerky due to the terrible quality of meat used in most jerky, but this was so tender! However my biggest issue was how sweet it was, a bit too sweet for me, unfortunately.

I had the Original flavor and appreciated nice chewy chunks of lean meat with just a right a mount of spices. Very filling. So much so, I shared the rest of the pack with a friend. Not because I'm nice, but because I was full.
