[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I even opened the package, I always look at the nutrition information. I was disappointed that the original flavor grass-fed beef jerky contained 5 grams of sugar. As someone living a low-carb lifestyle, 5 grams of sugar for 1 oz of a meat product just doesn't fit within the guidelines of anything I could eat much of or regularly. I tasted a piece of it and while it was good, it is not something I would purchase for myself. My husband and daughter do not have the low-carb requirement and both really enjoyed the beef jerky. They said that the flavor was better than others that they have tried and this is something that they would like to continue to eat more often.

I think this jerky is amazing. Surprised someone thought it was too sweet.

Superior to most original recipe jerky brands out there. Peppery, savory, with garlic and spice. A true classic, would buy again.
