This is only awful to me because of the stevia, leaves an awful aftertaste that won't go away for several hours. All of the other ingredients look wonderful.

This protein powder describes itself as smooth and not gritty....not true. It's extremely gritty to the point of coating your tongue and throat, and the chocolate flavor is awful.

I've tried to like this and have tried to make it multiple ways-most recently in my oatmeal. It is too sweet, too fake tasting and too gritty no matter what I do to try to smooth the texture out.

The chocolate flavor has a much better texture or mixing capability. This one, vanilla, stays rather gritty after mixing either in just liquid or in a smoothie. Definitely will be going back to the chocolate flavor.

Why the sudden price increase from $25 --> $35?! I have literally kept my Sams membership only to get this product at a good price. Will probably not renew my membership if this price stays ridiculously high.

I wanted to like this! But the smooth description is not accurate on this product. The taste was ok especially if adding flavored syrup but the texture completely threw me off. someone described it as cardboard, that is accurate and I would even say like drinking sandy water. I even tried mixing it in a blender and I just couldn't get past the texture. It's just not for me.

Can't drink milk or whey, don't care for soy. I mix it in a blender with Greek yogurt, fruit, and ice and maybe some water. It's very very good and a great alternative to the other products on the market. Chocolate and strawberry are especially good. I also mix it in a bowl with my yogurt, half strength again with fruit And it's a tasty breakfast.

I don't mind the texture but the fake vanilla flavor it has is horrible. It would be better if they just left it unflavored. I'm going to have to try and drown out the flavor with something else to get it down. Even at a tablespoon in my smoothies I can taste the fake vanilla flavor. Maybe the chocolate is better?

Took a little while to get used to the taste, but not too long. The flavor was OK, but there's defintely a graininess and gritiness to the mix, at least when blended with water. I mixed at the correct ratio of powder to water, and mixed it vigorously in a shaker, and the grit remains. Not terrible, but not the best either. I even added additional water to the blend which helped a little, but I don't think the gritiness will go away no matter how much water you add.
